We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaWe were directed to upper lvl lobby to check in, with luggage left behind. Since front desk was not ready to assist, we decided to get our luggage from the ground floor. We were a bit upset to find it was still sitting there in open with no tags or attendent. Initial greetings by front desk staff was judgy, very unconscious bias, tried to ignore us at first. Had the same vibe from another staff when checking out. One of the bedsheets smelled of sweat, had to request replacement. None of this was acceptable and not to Marriot standards.

IndiaHousekeeping disturbing at odd hours and ringing the bell impatiently till someone opens the door. On one occasion, the housekeeping even started opening the door before we could!!
Location is very good with good view of Taj Mahal, very comfortable room with all facilities, very good restaurant and food. Breakfast was very good.

GermanyIn the morning of the check-in day I contacted the hotel and let them know my time of arrival. Despite that, the hotel tried to call me multiple times within few minutes and then texted me in WhatsApp, that I should let them know my arrival time, if not they would cancel my reservation. What happens if someone is not available via phone, when they contact you? This made me feel very uncomfortable. I told reception, but my concerns were not taken seriously.
The room is modern and clean. The hotel is adjacent to a very little shopping center including a supermarket, McDonalds, etc. However, the hotel is not in the touristic area, approx. 15-20 min by car to Taj Mahal area, 2-3 nice restaurants nearby. Security staff at the entrance is very polite.

BelgiumFor a european, you expect even more cleanlingless for a 5-stars hotel. And also the valet and safety staff at the entrance were not very communicating, so there was a lot of confusion with our luggage and bags.
The hotel staff at reception was extremely friendly and helpful and accomodating. The staff did everything they could to answer our needs so thank you !

United KingdomThe bathroom was not clean. I've stayed in many Courtyard by Marriott hotels, and Fairfield doesn't match that standard. If you prefer Marriott, consider booking Courtyard instead.

I was very impressed with the variety of options available for breakfast. The Southern India cuisine offerings were particularly delicious. The staff members were also very attentive and helpful.
