How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The surrounding area of the hotel is a bit scary at night.
Helpful staff. Ravi, the manager, was of great help. The location is next to the airport.

The in room dining is amazing (great food) 👍🔥but the service staff ability to get the orders correct and understand requests seems to be lacking - they repeat the order correctly but it’s not always what shows up to ur room -

It is the FILTHIEST location. Choose in only if you don’t plan to step out or only use it as a transit hotel from and to the airport. It’s in a SLUM area, and there’s dirt and garbage and filth all around wherever you go. The traffic is insane and utterly chaotic. There’s a gutter right in front, and that’s a part of the “view”. A brand like Marriott should just refrain from choosing such a terrible location. We felt utterly unsafe and it was a harrowing experience, till we reached the hotel.
The main property is a typical functional star hotel. The courtyard view rooms overlook the busy airport, which is pretty amusing. The breakfast spread is standard and satisfactory. The staff is courteous.

Close to the airport, but in industrial area, so no shops around . Breakfast and staff were excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you.

The previous occupant of the room had smoked inside and despite a deep clean, they couldn't completely get rid of the smell. The restaurant was a bit disappointing, food was OK at best. The shuttle to the airport is overpriced
The hotel is right next to the airport, that was the primary reason we picked it. It also has a swimming pool on the roof, nothing fancy but it was great to be outside above the Mumbai smog. They arranged communicating rooms so our kids could sleep in their own room. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok

I feel the cost of IRD is inflated beyond than what it should be. Its sad the hotel doesnt have a dedicated reservations team, no one responds to emails sent to the proper and that you need to hold for a good 20 mins before being connected which is a pain when your calling from another country cause the property wont respond to your emails or chats that you've put 3 months ago.
The check in process had some confusions but in all Id rate it a 4 out of 5. The view is really what your paying for else the property is average. Bed needs to be deep clean for dust but other wise the pillow is soft and can be adjusted to the right height. The aircon is perfect in keeping the room cool.

Service in the restaurant. While food quality and spread is good, the service is slow and responsibilities not defined. Replenishments are not done on time and team forgets to deliver after taking order.

While breakfast quality and spread is good. The service needs improvement as empty dishes are not filled on time and have to keep reminding for the same. Staff is there but seems adequate responsibility is not given to look after the spread. Also Room size is quite small.
Location close to Mumbai airport. Good food.

Front desk was not responsive and friendly at least to me during checking, checkout and taxi request. Swimming pool is not so great. Room is quite small.
Food from a la carte was quite good and creative, e.g. bento box. Staff except front desk was helpful and friendly. Plenty of water and cleaning service. Comfortable room.

Taxis Are too expensive if you take tuk tuk to The airport they drop you near parking so you have to walk. No drop in front of entrance. We had a door to next room like family room and we could hear the noise from neighbours.
Very nice pool area but unfortunately no service there for safety reasons. Room was quiet and clean as expected In Marriott hotel .

I wish airport service would be complimentary. For example during the same journey we stayed in Marriott hotel in Kochi, where airport transport was complimentary (it was 5-star hotel though, while at the same time being cheaper than Fairfield). It feels like room is a bit too small for the price you pay. If price would be 10-15% smaller it would feel much more appropriate.
Hotel staff is amazing, everyone is super kind and helpful. Ambient in the restaurant was very pleasant, not too loud even when crowded. Hotel is generally more silent than compared to other 4-star hotels I stayed in in the same area. If I wouldn't know the rating of the hotel beforehand, I would think it's 5-star, not 4-star. It definitely deserve to be rated as 5-star.
