Entrance location should be from the other side of the road, away from fish market. Sign board at the entrance should have direction and distance written on it.

It’s really noisy. Even if you’re in your room and trying to sleep, you can hear every little thing happening outside. There’s also a sitting area right outside the rooms that tend to be so noisy. The location isn’t the best I’d say.

I loved that it had lots of toilet cubicles and the bathroom itself was really nice and always clean at everytime I went to use it. There’s a lot of common spaces. Some travellers were down doing work while others watching a movie upstairs. The staff were super nice and helpful with everything I requested.

As I was walking into the narrow road, I had no expectation there was a beautiful tourist heaven inside that big, closed gate. I loved the place and its vibe, and the staffs were very helpful as well.

Always a pleasure to stay at Forrrest Hostels. This was my second time. The bed was clean and well kept. The bathrooms were clean, maintained and very spacious. The common area was also very well maintained. All places were quite spacious for a city like Mumbai. Brownie points for proximity to Airport and BKC.

The Hostel: Dorm rooms are spacious, welcoming, functional and impeccably clean. Forrest was my 5th hostel in India and it was by far the cleanest and most inviting. Each bunk is equipped with a privacy curtain, fan, charging station, hooks and a small locker for your valuables. Larger lockers are fitted under the bottom bunk for additional storage. WiFi network, shower heater and water pressure all worked great. Common areas offer cozy vibes with plenty of seating. The Stay: The bed was comfortable and the dorm is well designed. Very safe and secure area. Conveniently located and a short distance to most attractions. Tuk Tuks are always parked outside for a quick ride anywhere and you’re an Ola/Uber away from farther destinations such as Colaba, Gateway of India, Marine Drive, etc. Short distance to BOM airport as well. The Service: The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They were always available to answer questions and offer recommendations. Special shout out to the cleaning staff! Not only are the dorm rooms, toilets and showers always clean, but they conduct frequent rounds to maintain that standard. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Lack of a little bit more space for the luggage but you could leave it next to your bed.

Close by the airport, very clean, a lot of common space. Staff was friendly and always available. There was a shared kitchen and fridge. Common rooms with games. I highly recommend it.

Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Two lockers for the backpacks. Light and plug beside each bed. Comfortable bed. Hot water and toilette paper. Common area and really little kitchen available. 20min by walk from the train station. Art everywhere

Not much to be improved to make this a stella hostel. These suggetsion are for guests to get a better sleep at night. Luggage lockers are also great to have, and guests at Forrest get two. However, they are metal which makes for a lot of clanking, banging, and noisy comings and goings. Add a few tactical rubber strips and the problem is solved. Privacy curtains are also great to have. Try to find a way of silencing the draw rail - seems a petty point, but if you stay you'll understand. Lastly, a written bedside reminder for guests to be considerate of others when it comes to taking calls, making noise at night. Even though there are some signs around you still find guests who think they are important enough to have their business heard by all - at all times of night.

Outstanding hostel. Very well-organised, exceptionally clean, plenty of space, attentive and helpful staff. Mumbai can be a difficult city to find good, low price range accomm, but Forrest nails it with out doubt. Close to the airport for a quick stopover, reasonable access to Andheri and Juhu, and only a short taxi/auto to Bandra station for a swift train into downtown Colaba. Beds are comfy, rest/washrooms are kept really clean, and shared spaces are bright and spacious. Wonderful hostel, deserves all praises. Highly recommended.

It is very difficult to find such Hostel in Mumbai. I felt welcomed from the first second I entered the doors, downstairs you have a reception and seating area with many plants. Super nice style of the decor. Upstairs are the rooms, I booked a female dorm with 8 beds and I loved it. Spacious Room, Beds with Curtains and everything you need. Highlight were as well the own Bathroom with 2 shower cabins, big and spotless clean!! Amenities like towels, mosquito plugs, little kitchen to use. All of the staff and as well the owner were so friendly and they make everything to have you feel good in their space. Thank you for the stay and vibes and the lovely chat on my last day. I can highly recommend this place for anyone and I am back for sure whenever I am in Mumbai.
