Getting a room is tough, book well in advance!

The heritage property is remarkable in its grandeur! Even though expectations were already high given the wonderful feedback prior to arrival, The Savoy, Mussorie lived up to, and in some ways, exceeded what we had hoped it would be. The upkeep, the food, the staff - all were outstanding!

Although I don't believe in superstations and Ghost stories, but the story telling session about the death of a women in hotel was scary for some guests. It could be avoided as some guests were not feeling comfortable, Though I liked it , being linked to history of hotel and I being a Professor of History.

Location is very good, just near the Library, the starting point of Mall Road. Breakfast and food quality was excellent. Very cooperative staff. Room service was excellent, though rooms are a bit small, but keeping in view the heritage status of the building, it was fine.

The hotel was built in the early 1900s, structurally not much has changed since then, everything is made of wood, the rooms are not isolated therefore are not soundproof. The price is justified with the amazing service and range of activities, and of course the scenery.

Our stay felt like we went back in time. The hotel is full of history and you can tell they try hard to preserve it. The service is exceptional, they go above and beyond. The bedroom we stayed was very cute, with amazing views from the terrace. High tea was included in the price which was a nice surprise.

The shampoo and body soap dispensers doesn't go with the otherwise lovely property. Taj provides forest essential toiletries while we get fiama which is not so premium considering the rate and type of the property.

afghan restaurant was too costly for its totally basic taste. the mutton kebabs werent fresh. didnt like the afghan section food. considering the name and legend this hotel has, some of the places were closed and not a huge property as you would imagine seeing the videos and photos, reception area is tiny.

it was cozy and comfortable stay, breakfast was amazing, nice clean rooms with wonderful staff, interiors, structure, history of the property is the USP of this hotel, they have kept it well maintained, would love to come again

everything is perfect but it can be little difficult for old age people because of lot of stairs and steps

This hotel is incredible - it was our first time visiting Mussoorie and we're so glad we stayed here. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and arranged a taxi for us to visit Lal Tibba (20mins away). The hotel is located just off Mall road, and so is in a fantastic central location. The food at the hotel was incredible, we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner buffet and breakfast, such a wide choice and everything was delicious. The hotel grounds are truly amazing, high up in the clouds with the most beautiful scenery, it felt like we could have been in the Swiss Alps. The hotel also provides lots of activities for guests, which included a bonfire along with a guitarist who sang to us under the stars. If you are visiting Mussoorie, then you must stay here.

Sincere thanks to the lovely warm staff at ITC Savoy, each and everyone from the welcome was just a pleasure to meet. The rooms do have a lot of the old school charm and the hotel’s heritage and history make it all the more unique. It has all aspects to offer right from a family retreat, to alternatively having a quiet relaxing time. With the lush gardens and great views it was indeed picturesque. This stay will be a memory we will cherish. Until next time !!
