Nothing it met my expectations

Location was great, near to all the historic sights, food was delicious, staff was incredibly polite and helpful.

The cleaning could be improved as there were quite a bit of dust and hair left in the room. And breakfast need to be improved for a 5 star., not much variety of fruits and coffee. But I would stay here again.

Staff is really friendly, hotel is beautiful and the pool is fantastic, hotel restaurant is good, had a lovely dinner there. The rooms are spacious and the locations is ok but when we were there there were works on the road in front of hotels so more difficult to walk around.

Open air dining arrangements, needs part of it undercover. The constant loud speaker announcing call to prayer was too frequent, too loud, and at times that were not fair on others trying to sleep or have a quiet dinner.

Taxi and other drivers has a problem with address (the main entrance). You have to check and change it everywhere (online maps systems, etc)

Nothing - all good

Fabulous hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant rooftop pool with magnificent views of Fort Kochi. Easy to walk to see the local spice traders, and the Chinese fishing nets. Fantastic food - chef always available to discuss personal requests for tasty dishes. GM Hari on hand to suggest places to go. Highly recommend and will return to stay when we next visit Kochi.

The service from the reception team could have been a lot better. I would have expected them to be more helpful and more polite.

The hotel and the rooms were beautiful. The day spa was great, the massage by Raina was wonderful.

On the day we were leaving, we had asked the hotel to arrange an airport transfer. This did not arrive until 20 mins after the agreed time, at which point we had already arranged an uber (which was also significantly cheaper). We were also woken up early each day by the call to prayer projected from nearby loudspeakers, although we appreciate this was not the responsibility of the hotel.

This is a beutifully designed heritage hotel with cute rooms and a tasteful lobby. The location is perfect for visiting the attractions in Fort Kochi and around Mattancherry palace. We visited during one of the hotter months and particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool with views over Fort Kochi and the neighbouring shipping harbour. The restaurant is excellent and offered us a complimentary cooking demonstration. We also enjoyed a traditional massage in the hotel's spa as this was available at a reduced rate during our stay.

The hotel, room, and staff were excellent. The only drawbacks were it looks really run down around it, and there are 2 synagogues broadcasting call to prayer. This did not impact our view of the hotel, and Wes would 100% stay there again.

The hotel was built by the Dutch several hundred years ago, with an amazing atmosphere and colonial decor. Large, comfortable rooms. Professional service. Close to all tourist attractions.

Gym had good facilities but only 1 of 3 air-conditioning systems were working. Minor negative the bike was not working.

Beautiful heritage hotel, well appointed rooms and fantastic roof top swimming pool. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Dinner on the roof top was excellent, good value with live unobtrusive music. Best hotel of our trip to Kerala. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Fort Cochin.

Neighbourhood is not very safe for women at nights so it’s advisable to not venture out alone or use transport.

The only drawback, and it was nothing that the hotel could do anything about, so we do not hold them responsible. We were situated close to two Mosques, so it was a bit disruptive in the early morning to hear the call for prayer. It would not stop us from going back though. The hotel was far worth it.

The breakfast was not really exciting, but the staff was nice and friendly.

The colonial style building is really beautiful, as is the rooftop pool area! The staff were professional and very helpful. The grounds were very clean and well maintained.

Roof restaurant and main hotel restaurant both just a buffet in the evening, not what we ever want. However there are many alternatives around. Staff could be better, had to chase breakfast dosa orders repeatedly.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely room. Epic shower. Roof pool is nice particularly at sunset. Good breakfast selection. Decent cocktails in the bar. Best hotel we stayed in on our trip to Kerala, and one of the cheaper ones too.

The breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. Pastries were dry and really not enjoyable. I must say it was a bit disappointing. Restaurant food is a bit pricey.

Really beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Pretty rooms. Nice pool. I quite liked the location, it is in a slightly more "rustic" part of Fort Kochi.

Breakfast is acceptable but not of the best quality for a 5 star hotel. The shower gels and shampoos etc are a pain to use, they are so small and difficult to use. Some rooms have a common closed door in the middle so you can hear your neighbors alarm in the morning. The restaurant prices are too high for the location.

Hotel is well maintained and the rooftop pool and restaurant terrasse are great ! The staff is young but friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and confortable.
