Buying bottles of water instead of being offered free refills. India has a rubbish crisis and it is important to be eco..guests would happily pay for refills if required. It would have been a big bonus to be able to borrow yoga mats.

The nuns are lovely, and very friendly and I like the location on the hill and the big balcony and roof terrace. It could feel like home if one had a long stay there. One can join in their practices and visit the ashram.

Location was good for me as my classes were just 5 minutes walk. I appreciated the quietness the most. In Rishikesh it's the biggest luxury one may get. All in all it is a nice place and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. Sometimes too relaxed :-). Quite a Rishikeshy style. I liked my stay there.

As it is a homestay managed by Spanish monks, please note that there is no room service available. For cleaning, you need to inform them a day in advance. Unfortunately, there were no water coolers, so you have to purchase water bottles from outside. Despite booking a family room for two days for four people, only one water bottle was provided.

The rooms were well-maintained and nicely managed, but the lighting was dim. It would have been better to have brighter lights. The location is convenient if you have your own vehicle, as there is a 5-minute trek from Ramjhula if you choose to go on foot. However, this is not advisable if you are with senior parents

It looks exactly like what is shared in the photos. The place was clean with peaceful surroundings. Very nice place to stay for big family or groups. It's on walking distance from the market, restaurants. We had a great time here. Just a suggestion if you could make arrangements for stove for short stays also it would be great. Keep up the good work 👍

The location is at a place where all tourist places are little far.. On weekends and holidays traffic around this place will consume most of our precious time.

More options for breakfast to be given. Bottled water can be given everyday. Soap and shampoo can be of a better company.

The hotel is centrally located, most of the places to visit is on a walkable distance. The rooms were clean and tastefully done decor. The staff were friendly and kind. Very helpful. Liked the breakfast. Loved the over all ambience of the property.

No restaurant at hotel and early check is an issue.

It’s an amazing property located at the centre of town admits peace, that’s why it’s rare find. The front road are for your vehicle to arrive and the back escape from cottage is stairs straight to the road of Ram Jhula hardly 5-8 mins walk. From terrace there is a scenic view of river and mountains. The cottage has very quite and homely feel. Ganga Vatika Boutique for now is not serving lunch and dinner but there is a restaurant just near to the cottage The Alyas. And Wifi is down as of now dated 15 May on. Rest you can call the property and ask. Parking is not an issue here. safe sound and secure. And yes Check in time is 1PM. So plan and book.
