The service was a bit slow I believe. Manpower is less hence delayed service time. There was an awful stench coming from one the elevators which seemed like human excreta. Didn't like that. The bathroom drain was not working hence entire bathroom got flooded after taking a shower. It was a nightmare.

Really loved the location of the property. Can see the entire view of the city Gangtok . Definitely would definitely recommend people to come here.

I was on a road trip from Gurgaon-Patna-Darjeeling-Gangtok-Muzzafarpur-Ayodhya-Gurgaon. We (4) stayed here for 3 nights and had 2 rooms pre-booked from booking.com of “D Luxe category”. Rooms were tidy, spacious and had all the latest amenities. Bathroom was clean and had hot water running 24/7. Since this was a road trip, we wanted to have a hotel with parking and they had ample of it. The check-in process was smooth and we were coffee as a welcome drink. The staff was well spoken and courteous. The reception area is huge and had a mini coffee bar with snacks available (At an additional cost). Lifts were compact and could only fit 3 person max with luggage. Their restaurant is at 1st floor and so is the gym. The breakfast buffet was having a lot of options to pick from but since I was on a diet I sticked with boiled eggs, Idli and Omelette. I am not sure if they had a swimming pool because I visited in the month of December. The property is newly built and there is still some construction going on. Food is just awesome here and we found it a good value for money too since the portion size is adequate. We ordered in room dining almost everyday during our stay and had our tatse buds satiated everytime we ordered. Places like Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok are close from this hotel. It is located far from the hustle and bustle of the main city so if you are really looking for a place close to MG Marg then this hotel is not for you. By car, it will take you around 20-25 mins to reach MG Marg which is the center of the city. Since we were travelling from Darjeeling where we already stayed in the center of mall road, we wanted to have a place a little quieter and less crowded. So for us, it was a perfect fit. Lastly, I would mention the great hospitality we received from Mr. Tenzing who helped us with getting a good deal for a taxi at last minute to Nathu-La pass.

1. The construction is still on therefore there was dust. 2. The drainage was blocked, though it was attended to once complained. It again got blocked. 3. No dental or toiletries other than soap and shampoo provided. 4. The restaurant took more than an hour to serve dinner. 5. The restaurant calls the room past midnight to recheck what we had eaten for dinner. Which was ridiculous. 6. Breakfast was very very basic. 7. When requested for warm water at 5:30am in the morning when we were checking out, the team refused to provide the same. This was a basic hospitality.

The building good. The team kept the packed breakfast ready at 5:30am, which is much appreciated.

They have no idea how to manage it. They gave us our rooms 4 hours after the regular check-in time and still not cleaned, AC not working, no tea available, below average breakfast. Their staff is inexperienced and don't know how to deal with customers

Very poor house keeping service. The management has no control over the housekeeping staff even a bottle of water is supplied after half an hour and making 3 calls to the reception. No housekeeping staff is available to take care of the luggage of the guest at the time of check in and check out. Overall the management of the hotel is very poor and a blemish to the name of brand GINGER.

One of the best Hotels as per me in Gangtok. Additionally, Mr.Norbu Tenzing who happens to be the son of the owner of the hotel is extremely helpful and a nice gentleman. His Humbleness is his greatest quality and strength.
