I couldn't pay through Booking.com although it states that you have paid. This was not the fault of Goa Cottages and they contacted me immediately and were very helpful and professional. I had to pay via a link and I was nervous that this may have been a scam because the photos looked too good to be true. I was very relieved to find that it did exist and was even better than the photos!!!

It was absolutely gorgeous, perfect for chilling. Great attention to detail to create a truly beautiful setting. The staff and owners created a warm and friendly atmosphere and went above and beyond to make you feel like part of the family. The food was delicious and far too much per serving for me. It is directly on the unspoilt beach and waking up to the sound of the waves and Black Kites cry was perfect in making you feel completely relaxed. Loved the outside shower! Honestly could not recommend Goa Cottages Agonda enough and can't wait to bring friend here so they can experience it too. Also they had a kitten and a puppy which was the icing on the cake!

Wonderful place in a quiet and secluded location. The beech has government protection so isn’t built up or commercialised. The cottages are very comfortable with the beech meters away. Restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced, with a very wide range of food.

Idyllic location and quiet facing the Arabian see - huts are clean with great aircon , wifi and TV - excellent views and everything you could want from a beachfront holiday in a jungle book location.

Flocks of crows came every morning at sunrise and made a terrible noise. The huts have no sound insulation.

We had a beach front cottage with private sun-beds. A beautiful view and location on the Agonda Beach. Don’t expect a 5-star resort, but expect 5-star service, food and drinks. This is no doubt the best beach resort in Agonda.

So the noises at night were tough. Barking stray dogs at the beach and crows in the morning gave me a hard time but if you bring earplugs it should be ok.

Location is superb. Backwater river is great for kids, since the waves at Agonda beach are quite rough. Food is very good and staff so friendly.

It can be a bit loud at night with the sound of waves and nature. We liked it but it’s something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

Honestly an amazing place to stay in Agonda. The cottages are clean and comfortable, the restaurant serves great food and the stretch of beach the property looks out to is beautiful. Thank you so much to the amazing staff with a special mention to Ritik and Ravi who are so personable and accommodating. They helped us to arrange transport to the airport and scooter rental.

Food, while often delicious, was a bit hit and miss - and, it's India! Food is supreme in India! While this has nothing to do with Goa Cottages, Agonda, we made the rookie mistake of leaving Agonda to spend time in the northern beaches of Anjuna and Calangute. Wow! What an eyesore, crowded, polluted, feral in parts, gross beaches - I cannot stress strongly enough how different the two options were. Stay South! Stay in Agonda!

What a fabulous few days on Agonda Beach with Ravi and the team. We stayed here for 4 days and enjoyed every last moment of it! Beautiful bungalows in a delightful tropical setting, very aesthetically organised. Merely metres from the water, waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the sand, enjoying lemon cardamon lassi and other treats, I found Goa Cottages to be a beautiful start to my vacation. Bungalows were very cute and decently appointed - plenty of power points, strong A/C and fan inside and on the balcony both. The bathroom was fabulous! Lots of hot water and an open air concept so you can enjoy the tropical weather and greenery while showering. It was simply gorgeous. Final point - Ravi and the rest of the staff were absolute legends - so helpful and engaging. I'll definitely be back!

Our stay at Goa cottages was the very best, right from the start. All of the staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful, the cottages are big with the most dreamy bathroom and the food is just out of this world (especially the breakfast and cocktails) The beach itself is not crowded at all and the sunsets are simply stunning. The area is full of beautiful plants and made with love to the last, small detail and creates such a relaxing Atmosphäre. Couldnt have had a better stay, a thousand thanks to everyone at Goa cottages, who made our stay so special. Greetings from your austrian friends.

There could be bigger shelves in the bathroom, it would make it easier to have your toiletries at hand.

Excellent beach, so quiet and calm. We enjoyed the sea view from our porch constantly. The food and beverage service was available all day and evening - we took our meals right on our room porch, and could get drinks or snacks anytime. The server guys are incredible, so friendly and fast. The room itself is spartan, simple but clean and comfortable. bathroom was very good, with a partially open-air screened roof - almost felt like an outdoor shower in the jungle actually! The bed was comfy, AC worked well, there's ample storage and comfy seating. Amazing beautiful place for some chill R&R.

Heaven on the beach. The best place to unwind and chill, with great views, immaculate vibes and a team that will take care of your every need. The cottages are clean, spacious and comfortable, all have partial sea view and just the right amount of privacy to enjoy some peace and quiet, but only a few steps away from the restaurant and the pristine Agonda beach. The perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy great sunsets! We never felt like leaving the property while there and enjoyed the fresh fish and amazing food at Kamaya restaurant every day of our stay. Thank you to the amazing staff who make this place what it is, Ritik, Ravi, and Anu just to name a few :) Thank you for making us feel at home, we can't wait to go back!

The only issue is the thin walls and cottages placed so closely together created some unease amongst neighbours. We had our TV on a a normal level and had complaints that it was too loud, so we kept it low, then we realised how noisy it was when another neighbour had their TV on throughout the night. Without earplugs you will not enjoy sleeping here, as there is also constant barking of dogs and the sea noise which I quite liked but still, worth mentioning to bring earplugs.

The breakfast and food was amazing. A great location setting right on the beach with wonderful sea views. The rooms were great with the outdoor shower a really lovely way to wake up in the morning. The staff were very freidnly and took great care of us and the housekeepers were also great.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

The cottages were self-contained and cleaned daily. All staff were beautiful and friendly. The restaurant standard was so good, we chose to stay there for all meals.
