The entire hostel is very homey and located in a good location. The plan was to stay 4 nights but I found myself not being able to resist staying a few extra days. The rooms are super clean and tidied up daily together with the washrooms. It has common areas too with lots of comfy chairs and vibey ambiance both indoors and outside. A definite budget friendly value for money experience and I don’t regret making the choice. The staffs are very friendly and readily available to assist you on your needs. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return. It was an absolute vibe and very chill!

A system for managing the AC and the temperature is definitely needed. E.g. only turn AC on at certain times or at a set temperature. We had a guest in our room who was hiding the remote (yes, really…). It was freezing cold all the time, even after we had expressed our concerns several times and I actually caught a nasty cold because of it. Not really the fault of the hostel in a way, but better management of these things is needed. But then one of the staff members helped me to get some medicine late at night which was really sweet.

This was a nice little hostel. Beds were comfy. Close to some nice restaurants. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good complimentary breakfast and filtered water available too.

GoSolo Stays is a charming, clean and safe hostel. The building itself was told is a 200 year old Portuguese house. Lots of love goes into the place. Beds were comfy, facilities are clean and the best are the staff .. very kind and helpful. Thank you Akash

The bathrooms could have been cleaned more regularly.

Excellent vibe and well kept. The rooms were very well air-conditioned and beds well kept/ clean. The bunks were also new and we'll maintained.

Really need to think hard on this. There should be more events here as the community formation here is too good

The place allows guests to open up with strangers which is the purpose of hostels across. The community formed here is really something that stays long. Overall management by Aakash Ankit and staff like Sunil really treats you like real hosts. Greatfull to this place to have introduced me to many good buddies over last 1 year. My search for hostel ended here !

The common area was right outside most dorms, so it could get very loud very late. But earplugs were helping :)

The only thing i did'nt like about the hostel is size of bathrooms and weird rat smell that stays for sometime near smoking area.

The location of hostel is very close to carter road where i can easily go for early morning walk and to exercise and food from popular carter road restaurants which is delivered with 15-20 minutes. The staff especially at night is very humble and other guests who were staying in hostel since long time never made me feel isolated. Socializing and making new friends with people whom i can look forward to work with in future in this hostel are now connected with me and so i came up with new and creative ideas.

The dorm was quite small, not too much space for my backpack.

My bed was really dusty though (top bunk). Bathrooms were a bit damp, but I’ve had a lot worse! For the price you can’t really argue!
