The manager or owner organised for us to have breakfast before we left to the airport really appreciated the staff starting earlier to allow us to eat before going . Very nice gesture very much appreciated.

Room was spacious and had all the amenities, the dressing/closet area was my favorite part since it had ample room. The Hotel policies were explained clearly and they are environment friendly in their approach. Will recommend this place for families, easy access to nearby attractions and safety. Special mention for Diana who checked us in, Manager Dinesh who coordinated reservations on booking.com and Food Manager Murugan.

Staff were good on arrival but they were not so helpful when it came to suggestions on tourism or travel. Also a bit slow. Breakfast was not ready in the morning at the said time, super slow service which is not ideal when you have somewhere to be.

Amazing location, right in the heart of the french quarters. Room size was really good, nice, clean, and well kept. I would stay here again.

Could have more hooks in the bathroom and room to hang clothes and towels. There were mosquitoes in the room (even though we kept doors and windows closed) perhaps because it was raining when we were there.

Excellent location. Room was spacious and clean. Good bed and extra pillows. Slept very well there because there is option to use the ceiling fan instead of AC, which is a huge plus for me. Bathroom also spacious though a little dark. Good shower and good toiletries. Netflix available in the room tv (need your own account). Breakfast was good. Love the strong cardamom chai! Staff are friendly and helpful.

WI-FI is very patchy. Toiletries are not replaced without request. They need to do something about mosquitoes - just 1-2 but they do disturb sleep. Plus the ceiling fan is not above the bed. Cost on par with five star but not all facilities like a five star mainly 24 hour room service or a large swimming pool.

Nice and clean rooms. Great Location and a very good restaurant. Loved the breakfast spread. Helpful staff - exceptional service from Rajesh and others. My 2 kids were down with indigestion and the chef accommodated a request for curd rice for lunch. The chef seems to do a great job - every food item is up to the mark.

Nothing, really. Provides a very similar standard to similar (but much more expense) hotels nearby.

Central location, close to lots of restaurants; rooms are quite spacious, clean. Breakfast is fine, quality of food is good but selection is not hugely elaborate (this is not a huge five star hotel, so I wouldn’t expect that). Diana on Front Office was very helpful and ensured we had any assistance we needed, including car hire for the day.

No wardrobe in room. I personally prefer rooms which have access to natural light. The room we stayed in had window facing the lobby which was quite narrow. So had to keep the window closed. But this was just a minor inconvenience. Overall an extremely pleasant stay!

For a rather expensive hotel, rooms do not have a proper cupboard. TV is distant and too small.

Well located in the heart of White town. Generously large rooms. Friendly staff, good breakfast. The restaurant serves a delicious menu. The swimming pool though small, very relaxing.

A few things could be improved: Wifi was patchy and sometimes not working at all. Breakfast options, especially continental breakfast, were limited and the same every day. Given the price and four star rating, one would expect more.

Staying at Grand Hotel D‘Europe was overall a nice and comfortable experience. The rooms are spacious and with modern, well maintained equipment. Everything, especially the bathroom, was meticulously clean. Staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

I could have put a note up to 10/10 but unfortunately a staff of this hotel was not friendly and was unpleasant which lowers the note. Indeed, we had the right to have breakfast in our room and this one wanted to refuse for an unknown reason. Once the complaint was made to the manager, he no longer said hello during our visits, I find it unacceptable for an employee to react in this way! He does not realize the image that this can send back. Apart from this problem, the other members of staff were very welcoming and caring.
