How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The overall hygiene of the hotel, the bedsheets, the pillow covers, the blanket, the spaciousness of the room. In booking.com the room was pricier but last time when we came here the lower priced room was more spacious, so it didnt make sense. There were no toiletries provided at all except for a towel and the worst part is that the hotel room was not cleaned before check in as there was dust all over the room.
The hotel is situated in a very good place, kind of in the middle of the city so it was easy for us with the transportation and the food orders. The hotel had geyser facilities so hot water was available for bathing which in winters is a pretty nice option to have.

The lift needs to be repaired. I was given a room on the 4th. Floor, but I had to press 5th. Floor in the lift and was taken to the 4th. Floor. There was a big hole, where the 4th. Floor switch should have been. The floor of the lift was creaking.
Location was good. Rooms were just passable. There was a Geyser with hot water and an AC. The Room Service boy brought Tea and snacks, but these were overcharged. The Front Desk person, should learn a bit of mathematics. He was miscalculating the total amount for food supplied. When I pointed out the matter, he brought down the price. The cost of food is very high compared to the normal rating of the Hotel.

No hot water. Pipe in washbasin missing. Water flowing in bathroom. Inspite of telling many times not attended till we checked out.

The bathroom had water clogging. The room has a musty smell of dampness and the bathroom stinks of seepage. We did not get a towel even after asking several times. The service was very slow. Buffet breakfast finishes by 9:30! :( Could have found a better place for the same price. There is no view from the room as the room's window opens into someone's kitchen.
Room size was good so was the location of the hotel. You had food joints as soon as you step out of the hotel. Buffet breakfast is available!

Very bad room service. Took 2 hours for serving plain roti , dal and aloo motor. Bedsheets , towels are not up to the mark.
Good but have scope for improvement. Few items served and some already finished at 8.45 am .

the room facilities and cleanliness were below expectations.
There were insects and cockroach moving in the room and the cup board. I was waiting for my days to be over. Bed sheets and pillow cover was not that clean. People who have less budget is OK for them but if budget is not a problem then there are many good hotels near by. Staffs were OK but the room facilities and cleanliness were below expectations.

The rooms are old, half of the amenities doesn't work. The AC doesn't have a working remote, nor the switches in the AC works. Roaches roams around at night. Fridge doesn't work. TV doesnt work. WIFI doesn't work.
Located near B Barooah college, the hotel is situated in a good place. The staff are a bit lazy but good. Just a phone call is enough for them to cater your needs.

Staff behavior....was poor 1. We asked for early morning checkin while booking to visit Temple. They confirmed our stay in advance ...so we thought bath arrangement will be atleast provided...but they denied any help when we reached their property. Some communication in advance would have been better by manager/ staff 2. We asked for 1 glass milk for 4yr boy at 10pm. They said kitchen is closed and no further service. After many request they agreed. Property is at prime location...but Staff has full potential to spoil the reputation.
