My stay in Hotel Gulshan Grand has been a great experience. The hotel patron is a great host. I was not treated as a customer but as a member of the family. This privilege was not just extended to me but to a few others who had checked in here. They too shared this view with me. There is no pressure to do and not do things. One feels here a sense of home away from home.

The breakfast option was sad. The south India snacks I asked for was brought wrapped in newspaper, probably from a roadside cafe. That itself took away my appetite. The staff, though well-meaning, lack training. Also, it is a tiny establishment on the second floor of a ramshackle building with steep stairs and no lift. This could be an issue with some travellers.

The location of the property is excellent. It is situated in a nice part of south Mumbai, although far from the airport. For those who have work in this part of the town it is most convenient. Rooms, though small, have a working AC and a decent WiFi. You can order food through aggregators or eat out. There are several cafés within a walking distance. This is Colaba after all.

The kitchen was very dirty, so we decided not to have breakfast there (we had payed for it for the 2 days) because of its poor hygiene conditions. The common washroom was extremely dirty as well. Rooms are very small, with no windows.

The staff was very nice, the location was great, the bed was super comfy and the air conditioning worked excellent. The best part was that they took care of our luggage after our check out until 4pm, so we were able to roam around the city before leaving for the airport. The linens and towels were clean.

We had trouble getting the water to come out of the shower head instead of the tap so had bucket showers which was fine. Only other issue was some other guests being very noisy very late at night

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was ok but a bit ob the small side for 2 people with luggage. Water was hot which was good.

Hotel was excellent. Food was good . Hotel ambience was so exquisite. House keeping team did wonderful service. Laundry service was on time. All staff were cooperative. Would like to visit again. I would like to thank all of staff for helping us.

Nothing great about the property, entrance to the property was very savvy. Garbage bin kept on the stairway was smelly

Too many cockroaches in the bathroom. They could do with cleaning up the entrance as it looks very down at heel and grubby. It probably does not belong to the hotel as it is on the 2nd floor.. but the staircase is old and dirty and having Gulhsan Grand sign in that dingy hallway is a bit strange! Not easy to find.. a beggar on the street showed me where it was!

I needed hot water and they brought me a kettle.. that was great. The bed was comfortable.

1. The entrance. You will enter through a dirty staircase where a homeless man spends the night. To climb to the third floor on foot with your suitcases. 2. There are no windows in the rooms. Therefore, the air is forcibly pumped by the air conditioner. There is also no extractor hood in the room. Therefore, the exhaust air exits only through the bathroom. 3. Rooms in one narrow corridor. On the other side is the kitchen, where someone is chopping vegetables all night. From the other reception. 4. Indians sleep during the day, and after eight in the evening they gather together in some room, yell and laugh with might and main until the morning.

It was very dirty and only cleaned superficially, eg. Rubbish under the bed and dirty toilet. Also a lot of flying insects coming from somewhere, I think we killed about 12 in one night. Only provided one towel for the two of us. You only receive breakfast if you ask multiple times and it is the absolute bare minimum, not enough to fill you up and served lukewarm.

Good location with 24 hour check-in and hot water shower.

The room was too small, and the room was located on the 5th floor There are no elevators to carry luggage The door lock was not working , so it was difficult to leave the stuff in the room when i went out The breakfast served was pathetic poor in quality Suck not sure why the property was not inspected by "Booking .com" As shiwn in tbe puc tbe room are nor close to what is promised Ok

Breakfast was included in my price and they are giving one off thing brought from outside. No water for bath, got late by 2 hours asking for water, no water pressure to reach till shower.
