Everything ! Location of the hostel was close to Ganga River and all the main street market. The staff of the hostel was very nice and helpful. The rooms was clean and bed comfortable. Rooms with AC + individual fan per bed. You can stay on the common area and use common washroom in case of early check-in/ late check-out. I was quite sick 2-3 days due to the heat, and the owner of hostel helped me a lot to get medicine and rest. I felt like home in my own family. Thank you. A Big THANK YOU for all. I really enjoyed my stay at Gypsy Diaries Varanasi. Vibes of hostel is very nice, friendly and like family. Special mention for SONU and his brother. No other words than just veryyy thank you. I'll be back for sure ! See you soon

One of the nicest hostels I have stayed in india. The staff were so helpful and most special Sonu jee and they gave us some wonderful memory and insightful tours of the city so kind. They also arranged our bus to agra for us and tuktuk drives ect.. The place was so quite at night had a really good sleep there. The rooms were clean and spacious and they had some lovey areas of the hostel to hang out in! A rooftop terrace, a room with a pool table and lovely couches to sit on. We planned to stay for one night but ended up staying for three. Free water refill and laundry is also provided! It is also very close to the main ghats and some very nice restaurants, ATMs, etc... Would 100 percent stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi. 😁😁

The location of the property within walking distance from the ghats is a big advantage for anyone visiting Varanasi and it's also located in a neighbourhood where one can experience the city's everyday life. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they were happy to arrange my transfer to the airport and were always available. My room was big enough and so was the bathroom. Appreciated a lot the fact that my room was quiet even though the property is centrally located. Definitely would stay again!

It is nothing bad because the city is full of very tight streets so you could have little issues finding the location. Ask the hosts for pieces of advice in order to don't getting lost.

The host guys in the reception are very kind. They were worried about me because it took me a lot of time to reach the place because I had issues with my phone. They ask the local people to bring me to the train station in order to don't suffer a scam. They are making some upgrades so it will be an even better place.

The streets leading to is bit dirty, but hey it's banaras. Oldest living city. For 12 beds, there was only 1 washroom, can be better than that. Vibes were good though. Very big property

The place is good. It was an old haveli, turned into hostel now. Pricing was good. Property is bit far from Ghats and all, but wasn't much of an Issue.

The food and drinks weren't very exciting, though the bread omelet was good.

I really enjoyed my stay at Gypsy Diaries. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is comfortable, clean and warm. I recommend the women's dormitory, you'll feel safe and I'm sure you'll meet some good people.

The hostel is really comfortable and safe, especially if you are a female solo traveller there is nothing you need to worry about. The room space is neat and tidy and most importantly the washrooms are kept clean. Housekeeping is provided everyday, they have a separate fan and light for each bunk apart from the common lights, which is a really good idea for night owls like me. The common area and the terrace area is a different vibe altogether. I was here for 10 days, and no matter how exhausted I'd be by the end of the day, I'd always go up to the terrace to chill for a bit and then go to bed. Also the staff is really helpful and friendly. The best part is that you can reach Dashashwamedh ghat and the Kashi Vishwanath temple in approximately 15 mins walking.

The best thing about Gypsy diaries is it's location, all the famous places such as the kashi vishwanath temple, the ghats hardly takes 10-15 minutes to reach by foot. The service is also very good. Really appreciate it.

I booked one night, stayed 9 nights. This is one of the best hostels on my two year journey. The best stuff ever! Everyone of them are very friendly and helpful. Anything you need, they will absolutely help. I was sick, they took care of me like their sister. The facility is good, the reactional room is well decorated with good taste of art, a lot of cushions and pillows, very relaxing, my favorite is the swing chair. Comfortable bed, hot shower, clean bathrooms, spacious room, big locker you can put everything inside. Rooftop is definitely a plus. What else? Everything is above and beyond. You gotta find yourself. Thank you so much for the great memories for my india journey.
