Only small negative was that in the room I was in there wasn't a mirror in the shower room which made shaving awkward.

Small, modern, clean hotel. All staff were pleasant and friendly. The manager Jintu was helpful and responded quickly to any problems or requests and offered advice when required.

Breakfast was good but could have couple of more options and to start by 8 am.

The staff was friendly and cooperative especially Jeetu. He arranged bikes for us as well as fuel. Owner also met us and we was very communicative and advised us to visit some good places.

It is a clean property and located in a silent an away from hectic. Staff is very friendly and try to help on all occasion. Owner also. Hotel has a tiny pool surrounded with greens. Breakfast was good. Water pressure and hot water was always in good condition

The location is a little bit away from the main road. But not isolated. You will definitely need to have your own bike/car. Other than that, nothing. A little on the pricey side but i believe it's more to do with the aggregators and the additional charges they tack on.

The place was great! The staff attitude was awesome!! Especially the manager Mr Jeethu. We had an issue with the air conditioning and requested a room change and were upgraded in less than a few minutes!! And the owner Mr Charles interacts with the guests staying there. Not the usual stuff about his property alone. He is open to constructive feedback and listens patiently. Breakfast isn't your usual buffet type, but nevertheless it's delicious and pretty good. It's all you can eat, so don't worry!! We were pretty impressed with the property and our stay.

The location is a bit out of the way, so you will need a tuk tuk or taxi for the beach.

Very quiet and homely atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious with an Indian speciality offered alongside eggs etc. The room was clean and bright with a good bathroom and plenty of hot water.

We liked everything.

It was an amazing stay at Half hotel , the experience is just unforgettable. I went with my family and we had spent a quality in those three days . The rooms were absolutely stunning, with large windows and countryside view while the aesthetics were top- notch . Cleanliness was A- class and the staff hospitality was beyond words . The staff were so nice and polite and most importantly helpful . They took immediate actions and resolved any kinds of problems in no time and would assist my family in every step which made us feel safe and secured as if we are at our own place . The Manager ,Vishal was so nice and jolly person along with the other staffs who were just so amazing in their work. The breakfast was complementary, and was absolutely sumptuous and is worth mentioning given the quality and quantity. Sometimes the Owner of the place visited and gave us some local foods to try which was a very touching gesture because we don't see in commonly. To conclude, half hotel will be my go-to place whenever Goa is at my travel list . Lots lof love !!!! P.s : one should definitely try the cute pool because it is a cherry on top !!!

The location was a little bit out of the way for me, but it’s really good if you want a bit more peace and quite. It’s still only a 10 minute walk from the main road.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The owner came by in the morning and gave me some suggestions on where to go next, what to see and just gave some really good recommendations.

The only thing I didn't like was the pool. There wasn't any shower and changing room for the pool. It created confusion and made us feel a little uncomfortable.

The way the owner of the property met us personally and asked us about the facilities provided was really an addition to the great location and calm environment of the hotel.

My in-laws recently spent over a week at the Half Hotel in Calangute and had a comfortable and pleasant stay overall. They particularly enjoyed the hotel's homey feel, clean rooms, and central location. The stay was made especially pleasant by the exemplary service provided by the staff. Special shout out to Mr. Charles - the owner - who was extremely down-to-earth and welcoming, and Jeetu and his team (Vishal, Abhishek, Dolcey, and Rajan), who went above and beyond to ensure their experience was outstanding. Their warm-hearted hospitality and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly commendable. Everyone was extremely accommodating and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The small, family-owned vibe and thoughtful interactions were deeply appreciated, and left my in-laws with lasting memories of the warmth and hospitality from their stay.

Functional issues, though very few. They do not have a restaurant, but do serve a freshly cooked breakfast out of a predefined menu from a small kitchen. More choices would have been nice. The water pressure in the taps was low. The washrooms were very tiny. The night staff is a bit irresponsible. Leaves post and doesn't answer calls at times (might be a one off case I experienced though). Open parking on the roadside. I found the prices to be a bit on the higher side, against the value they offer... But not really complaining.

Quaint is the word. The hotel is at an off-beat location, away from the crowd. The rooms are spacious and have an additional futon sofa that doubles as a bed which is enough for 2 people to cuddle. To our surprise it has 2 bathrooms and a separate shower. The decor is also very minimal and classy. The rooms are very clean. It is located in a residential area, and thus very quiet during evenings (personal preference though, might be a turn-off for some). The staff is courteous and quite helpful. Met the owner of the property too... Nice guy!
