Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The true essence of being in nature can only be experienced at hobohuts by the Riverside. Where nature is in its raw form. Host here is amazing and will go out of his to make your experience unforgettable. Lets you explore and experiment around the property. Place is near some very pretty and serene treks, Waterfall exploration and jageshwar dham. True adventure my stay has been at hobo huts.

IndiaWhy you should not stay at Hobo huts 4. The host - Ashwini Rajput is a big problem. He takes care of you from the moment you make a booking to the point you see him off. He is there as a brother, bro or bhai - any form you need him in. I felt as if I have come to meet a close relative of mine who was taking care of me. It feels bad to have left his side. You'll feel bad too so don't stay at hobo Huts. 5. The chef - Didn't I say that Ashwini Rajput is a big problem. He is the Head chef as well and served me with one of most mouth watering food. I haven't had such parathas with Beatroute chutney or Khichdi in my life. God know how he innovated and turned our simple khichdi into a dish that makes me hungry everytime I think about it. Don't go there if you don't to miss the aaawwweeemazing food after your stay. 6. Heart break - Once you visit Hobo Huts, your regular day to day life would seem even more mundane. You'll leave behind a part of your heart and take back with you a life long longing to be there again as soon as you can - the way I have! Your heart will break too as mine did when I left. So please please don't go there. 8. Bonus not to go tip - When you are in mood for a party night, you'll be served the suave and sexy "Summer wine". Once you have it there is no going back to ordinary evenings so please don't go there. Now that you know the truth, only go there if you wish to see how a heart brimming with love and joy feels like.
Why you should not stay at Hobo huts I stayed at hobo Huts and am sharing my thoughts with you straight from my heart 1. The location - located beautifully on a side of a river, in a valley, you are bound to fall in love with the design of the place. Minimal construction that doesn't infringe on nature's spirit to grow. If you like template, green grass clad resorts, please don't stay at hobo Huts 2. The rooms - Thank God, I didn't find the white bleached Lenin on the bed. Instead I was surprised at the cosy home style beds with regular bedding. The sheets were the ones we are familiar with at our homes. The decor is functional and not there to impress you with its stylish woodwork. Instead it'll make you forget that you are visiting a resort, so please don't go there! 3. The place - Treasure hunt to discover a waterfall or cleverly crafted pool by the river, your day will not have a dull moment for sure. Get up early, greet the sun by the river, have breakfast, walk by the riverside, play with Kali (cheerful pup), have lunch, watch a movie, come back for evening tea, take a dip in the pool, have dinner, listen to amazing stories from Ashwini and then sleep. You'll forget your busy life and get into nature's way of living. Breathing the cleanest air while listening to birds sing, you'll never want to return to the city and for this reason I recommend you not to go there.
