How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a big and clean room with a big bed. Hot water and towels available, the shower room is clean. Tasty breakfast. Nice rooftop. The owner is very hospitable. organized tour around the temples and the nearby attractions. Also possible to visit Panna reserve and the waterfalls. Recommend.

Nice rooms and espacially a very nice host and his family. They are gorgeous, so helpful to arrange sightseeing and everything else. Great knowledge of Khajuraho. Nice breakfast in the morning, pick ups and drop offs. It was an all in all a perfect experience and stay. Can strongly recommend it and will stay with them again.

Nothing at all.
This was the best food I've had during my India trip throughout the north. The homecooked food is delicious. The property is also beautiful, offering lots of green space and open lawn area. The staff are incredibly kind. The chef always treated us with a smile, and the homestay owner treated us like family. He even upgraded us to a better room than what we paid for. Safe, clean, and great value.

Nothing, completely recommand the homestay
We didn't feel like it's a homestay but actually a whole human experience. Faram took care of us really well and in a disinterested way which is really valuable in India. We've been all around with him for a few days, visiting the temples and all the surrounding areas. He was always really helpful, available and gave us good adress, tips and recommendations during our stay. We completely felt part of the family for this few days. Moreover, the place is a little bit away from the city center which wasn't an issue it's actually less noisy and more quiet. We went in town with faram most of the time or just through a small walk journey sometimes. The rooms and bathroom are really clean and comfortable and AC can be provided which was useful as the weather is bloody hot over there.

We where really well welcomed in Farman's house. We could spend some time with his family, he gave us good advices to visit the city and he even helped us to buy a bicycle in Khajuraho! Great time, thanks 🙏

Farhan Kazi's hospitality was top-notch. The food was remarkable. This place is located very near to western group of temples.

That there was an option to wifi.

We had a lovely stay at this place. It is not a hostel. It's a homestay. They welcomed us with a smile, perfectly clean rooms and washrooms. We didn't have a single thing to complain about. Farman Bhaiya (the owner) even helped us in arranging food for us from badri Seth ki marwari Bhoj. They delivered food at our place without any extra charges. The food here is super tasty and pocket friendly.

The hosts were very welcoming and warm. they were punctual and helped me with my plans. I had fallen sick during my stay and they were the most accommodating, bringing me my medication and ensuring i was OK. meeting the host's family was a fun experience and they were extremely respectful and caring.

The stay was nice and comfy. The environment was very homely and Farhan has been an amazing host. Khajuraho is a tourist place so people usually charge way more than actual price but Farhan and Farman were very helpful in that way. The stay was budget friendly, breakfast was amazing and they guided us towards more pocket friendly means. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and again, the entire family was welcoming and warm. It was like a home away from home.

There is no road to the house from the main road. But it's a very short way and there is some political problem because of which it can't be built.
Farman and family are very nice, good people who are hardworking and put their heart and soul in their work. The stay was so pleasant, calm and relaxing. He showed great hospitality, service, knowledge of the district, people, history, temples, art, markets, local food, plants, trees, animals, geography, topography. Clean air and water. No noise or light pollution.
