The place is around 2.5 kms from library chowk, 100 meters from Sterling resort. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very well maintained. Both large and normal sized rooms are available and there's one room with a sit-out outside it so better discuss with the owner while booking because Booking.com does not display all options. It's a nice peaceful place far from the crowded area. Taxis to library chowk take ₹300 one side. The caretaker makes excellent homestyle food on order (Breakfast and dinner only). Real value for money

Had a very pleasant stay here, Govind ji the caretaker was a one man army who catered to all our needs. Food was homely and delicious, the view from the homestay was very beautiful gives the entire view of Mussoorie.

Breakfast was great here. The cook Govind was very good in making dishes of our choice The host Mr. Prakash Chandra was great in addressing our needs, as we traveled with kids. The location was great with a view of Doon valley from the windows. Kids had a great time going for a morning walk, playing around and reading Ruskin Bond books. As a family, we enjoyed the trip and are planning to visit again.

No lift for luggages. That's it. However, Govind ji helped us with the luggages.

Superb view from the room, located little away from the main market which makes it a peaceful stay. Rooms are well maintained and the property is very well taken care by Caretaker Govind ji. the garden, the outhouse, the kitchen, the lobby, the stairs every corner of the property is clean and beautifully managed by the caretaker. He cooks really tasty food for breakfast and meals. Value for money stay. Loved the property.

The property is 3.5kms from Library chowk which might not suit everyone who doesn't have a car. There is no lift and it is wrong to expect such a facility in hilly areas too. So, be ready to pick up your luggage. There was no facility of coffee / tea in room but one can ask Govind bhaiya for the same. Lack of toiletries, pack your own.

The view from my room (top floor - King room) was spectacular. One can see the twinkling lights of Dehradun on a clear night. The property seems very new and is done beautifully. Govind bhaiya was very helpful throughout the stay, and extended help with the luggage,.
