Hmmmm......Banglore's heat.

Hello peeps, this is Sree and let me share my experience with you! This is the first time I am attempting a solo travel and a dorm stay. I had many fears about safety & security for females and otherwise doubts while travelling and starting this journey of mine. Initially I have booked for only 3 nights as my stay. When I entered the hostel, I met Prajwal(manager) whose vibe has raised my confidence. Then I met the kitchensters - Shankar, Veerender & Rahul Bhaiya who were so homely. The room was more comfortable than what you can feel in the pics. The entire day I was in a little panic due to new environment, new people around. I am a dog fearer too. Then I met Ankita (Vrinda's Friend) and felt so much relaxed. Within 2 days I became best of the friends with Fly and Uno (the fur friends) and a lot of my personality has a shift for the good. I extended my stay then to 5 days and then to 8 days and now this place became a home for me. I am exploring Bangalore in the evenings, made good friends, found great female personalities during my stay. I don't think I am going away any nearby :-P "House of Stories" has given me a lot, from Vrinda's sisterhood and her force in making her guests comfortable (not just the stay but in the concept of healing), the badminton & cricket nights with Praju(Prajwal, The manager), Astika(the in-house mate), the funniest of the night conversations, meeting different personalities from different walks of life, the weekly events that happen within the house(open-mic, stand ups, listening circles, food parties, festival celebrations, etc.,) - everything over here is a new home and world altogether. For anyone, who is in the journey to start/explore/realize/seek/heal etc., this is the place...What else can I say? Just come down and experience the home...I am sure it will not let you go :-P

No complaint...one accepts the limitations on space and facilities inherent to dormitory stay.

Warm and intimate vibe, artistic decor and friendly hosts. Hostel meals were good and reasonably priced, with plenty eating options in close vicinity. Indiranagar is a vibrant mix of old and new; the hostel is a great base to explore and very close to the club I came to city for.

I recently stayed at House of Stories and had a wonderful experience. The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, highly recommended for a pleasant stay!

beautiful place to base yourself in Bangalore for a little while. great food, great food nearby, walking distance to a metro. The rooms are clean and the balcony is lovely

Nothing that I felt inconvenient about.

It's a peaceful place to stay, accessible to one of the prime spots in the city. Relatively new, interesting food options in the menu.. enough and more co-working space to work away from the office.

The shared bathroom isnt ao comfortable to take a shower (no hangers whatsoever). The shared dorm smelled like it is not well ventilated. No curtains for the beds for privacy.

Nice people, nice atmosphere in the shared areas. Asthetic place and asthetic rooms. There is a rooftop.
