It was just a perfect stay we had. The house and room is just beautiful. Felt very comfortable. Also enjoyed to be a bit out of the center for some peace. Room was of very good standard, one of the best we had in India. Great towels :) But the best was the family and the talks we had. Cooked a great dinner and we could watch and ask many questions. Thank you so much for everything

Great hosts and beautiful room. Devendra and his wife Uma took great care of us, giving us great tips to explore the city. The food we had here was also delicious, some of the best we have had so far on our trip. They were super kind and friendly and just made our stay very special. A beautiful family and a great stay! Would stay again if we are back in Udaipur.

We loved everything about our stay.

Everything about the homestay is excellent. The location is serene and after a long day in the bustling city - its a delight to come back. The room is beautiful with a spacious balcony. The food is homely and delicious. The quality of our stay also really elevated due to the wonderful hosts (Uma jii and Devendra ji)- who were very helpful and gave us some great tips about what to do, see and eat in Udaipur.

I loved my entire time at the stay. They're very humble and try their best to manage your genuine requests. I am a rajasthani myself and still every night there was surprise on the dinner table, just loved the food too. Very calm and soothing place. This is gonna be my permanent stay place in Udaipur.

If it has to be mentioned then just the location is a bit out of the way. But one can get an auto easily. It was sweet of Kamleshbaiyya to help us in getting an auto when we wanted to step out.

This was certainly home away from home. One of the sweetest couple we have met, Devendraji and Uma, were gracious hosts. The home cooked food served with much love, gave us the much needed energy for our sightseeing. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The open terrace was inviting specially for Mumbaiwala's like us. Best wishes to Jai Villa ❤️

The place was little far from the main lakes.

The hospitality was awesome. Great service by the hosts and the rooms were clean with all the amenities. The breakfast and the food prepared was really yummy. We would certainly like to come again God willing.

A lovely 'homestay' in its truest sense. You could easily call it a home away from home! With the engrossing chats with Devender ji and the lip smacking authentic Rajasthani food that they served us with so much love, the experience was one like staying with long lost friends. Looking forward to our next visit to the lovely Jai Villa!!

Everything was just perfect. This place is very well maintained. Great hospitality by Devendra ji and his mom. The food was amazing and homely. We enjoyed all our meals, and especially aalu paratha cooked by aunty ji. They are so warm n welcoming, treat you as a family. Words fall short to describe the amazing experience we had at jai villa. I strongly recommend anybody travelling to udaipur stay here.

The suite on the ground floor doesn't have geyser and hot water is supplied from the solar plant from the top floor. So one needs to empty two buckets of water before getting hot water which is a wastage. It will be nice if geyser is installed in this room. Our host made us aware of this though in advance.

Me and my wife were driving down to Delhi from Mumbai with our pet and decided to stay here. Without a doubt it is the best place I have ever booked and had the pleasure of staying at. Devendra ji and his entire family are the most amazing hosts. Right from coordinating our arrival through the entire time of travel to having dinner ready for us late at night, Devendra ji was extremely proactive. The property is extremely pleasant with beautifully done rooms and luxurious bathrooms. The rooms are adorned with ornate lamps. We had booked the room with an adjoining terrace which gave ample space for our dog to roam around and play in. Devendra ji also made a customised itinerary for us for the following day and earmarked all the city hotspots that we could visit with our dog. The breakfast spread was amazing with multiple options and piping hot kachoris. What really stands out though is all the love Devendra ji and his family shower upon all their guests. We were treated like family and they opened up not only their home but their hearts for us. Devendra ji's mother is the most fascinating lady and the conversation with the entire family is warm and straight from the heart. We were given loads of blessings and lots of homemade goodies for our onwards journey to Delhi. We had an early morning start and Devendra ji went out of his way to ensure we had a warm cup of tea with him at 5.30 in the morning and he had packed sandwiches for breakfast. We were so touched by the entire experience that we made sure that we stayed with them on the return leg of our journey as well. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary during the return leg of our journey and Devendra Ji went the extra mile to get us a cake and we had the most amazing traditional Rajasthani dinner with the family. Jai villa homestay is a once in a lifetime experience. As beautiful as the property is, what is really breathtaking is the hospitality and generosity of the hosts.

Comfortable, pet friendly Homestay. We arrived late in the night and Mr. Devendra and Mrs. Uma were extremely accommodating. We drove from Mumbai with our little pet. The location of the Homestay is in a quiet residential area just 10 mins off the highway. We also learnt that there are very few pet friendly places in Udaipur, which is a shame, but because of that we ended up staying at Jai Villa Homestay and this is where we’ll be staying on all future trips.
