The information about that the fitnesse center was closed could have been commnunicated, totally missed in both checkin and when booking.

They missed the checkin on our second room, it was late when we again went down to reception to get the key. They forgot to bring it up to the room.

The location is what I liked the most. Cubbon Park is right next to the hotel and early mornings in Cubbon Park is the best way to start your day! The breakfast spread was fabulous and the quality was amazing! The best medu vada ever!

Although fitted out well, the rooms were dated and worn and they weren't as clean as the other 5 star hotels I've stayed in. The view over the park with the (eagles) was amazing though.

The Music was too loud in the restaurant, and you could in some seatings hear 2 different type of music.

The Service of this Hotel staff was immaculate. I landed from KL, Malaysia on 19th June. Was rather not feeling good, bad flu and cough. The hotel staffs was in hand to help me with my medication. Then the experience in the Executive Lounge was exceptional. A1 Service by everyone there from the manager, Chef and staffs. The best Executive lounge service I have had staying in many properties all over the world. Breakfast was great and the staffs service, i would give a 100% mark Great place to stay

The rooms are decent size and all the facilities are fine but I found it litter darker due to wood floor and black Polish which is the same for cabinets. I love wood finish but little lighter shade would look great.

The staff is excellent and very polite. The Breakfast is very good and staff there are amazing helpful and friendly. Overall staff are very well trained and always ready to assist

what did shock me was the housekeeping and the behaviour of some of the staff who attended to my room. was let down by this area of the staff..

I loved the reception I received on arrival..wonderful service from the reception area... I loved the room with its amazing view of just trees. The location of the hotel was perfect. And the restaurant for breakfast was a complete delight with an amazing attentive staff...

It would have been good if the driver saw me through to the entry of each destination. He was good. I’m not complaining however the day which at a cost of 15,500 plus taxes ought to have included everything. A couple of times I felt a bit unsafe. I went with a friend for brunch at the Bakery before my stay and she was vomiting for 24 hours following. I paid the bill for 5 people which included a cake. It was about $220/230 AUD - so not cheap, especially given the outcome.

My breakfast was packed for a day trip. A disappointing as breakfast buffet was included and all I got was fruit- which was good, a frozen cucumber and tomato sandwich, an OJ and too much from bakery. I did say vegetarian but an egg would have been nice.

when I first arrived I was placed in a room overlooking the pool. but there was a wedding on next to the pool with loud music thumping until 1am and I couldn’t sleep. the pool area is a bit dated.

nice location opposite Cubbon Park and next to restaurants at UB City. Nice spa and gym, decent buffet breakfast. rooms were spacious. room overlooking Cubbon park has great views

Sometimes the servers disappear for a long time. Not all the spa facilities work. While visually very appealing, some parts of the hotel do not operate properly. Like changed room due to strong odor, trouble connecting to wifi, remote control numerals worn off and battery was dead. Keys failed several times.

The place is beautiful and staff is most friendly, efficient, courteous and accommodating! Breakfast is an amazing assortment that extends to cater to everybody. Pool restaurant is delish.

Water bottles in room are hard to open and the caps cut the skin while opening. Room cards lose their access if held close to mobile, challenging to keep activating them.

Location, view from the room, facilities provided and in-room layout. Enjoyed the hospitality and courteousness of the staff. Food was excellent.

The swimming pool was not available due to a private function until 4PM, this should have been notified before arrival or at the point of booking so a decision could be made as to whether we stay or not, the pool is one of the main reasons for a staycation especially with children. Buffet breakfast was ok, eggs completely over cooked. Only one dressing gown and one pair of slippers in a double room, bathroom toiletries catered for one person also. For the price of rooms you expect the extra touches.

Staff were helpful and welcoming on arrival, beds were comfortable and we slept well. Perfect location for UB city and surrounding area and the view from our balcony was excellent.
