How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Disadvantage is that if we need something, we need to wait. No other facilities or shops around makes it difficult in case some one falls sick or feel hungry.
Location was great. Helpful staff. Good food which is made to order.

Overall the facility was good. As we had seen on your page. The only issue we faced was for Hot water was not available on both days. The management staff tried their best but since it was based on solar it was not that effective. Which was the only drawback we had in the property.
The location is very good, the property is very good. Those who have visited Mahabaleshwar quite often and like to go and rest in nature. I would suggest Kabila be a dream destination for them. It is quite away from the main town, but ideal for nature-loving people. Good time for children, but no emergency services nearby. So go prepared if you are travelling with kids and senior citizens.

it is about 7 KM from Mahabaleshwar and a car throughout the stay is advised. no shops near resort. for all necessity you got to go town centre.
the property is good, neat & clean , and built with good taste.

The internet connection is poor
I stayed in this resort for 1 night with my wife and daughter. The location of this resort is far from the actual Mahabaleshwar town and it is amidst the clouds. While checking in, I was told that this resort only accepts cash and UPI payments. Also, there is no mobile network available in this resort. You need to rely on the resort wi-fi but the speed of the network is very poor. So ideally you will be cut off from the rest of the world for the number of days you are staying in that resort. Other than that, the food was good although you have to place your order for dinner at 6:30 PM. You will not be able to get any outside food as there is nothing else near this resort. Alcohols are banned in this resort so be careful before you book. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. The TV in the room has only Marathi channels subscribed and few news channel only. Hence, if you wish to watch a movie you will be disappointed. Overall, the stay for one night is more than enough in this resort.

A tour of the farking practices would have delighted the visitors.
Food made was grown inhouse, including the vegetables and wheat.

we loved location , food, atmosphere, friendly staff. nothing to complaint. there are + - everywhere even in 5 star property. dont think much book and enjoy
Stayed for 2 days with family 3 adults 1 kid. including senior citizen pros Location away from hustle busle of mahabaleshwar , approaching roads looks little far but its fun drive . Tapola river boat ride is near by. excellent facilities, Homely food. dinner was good , My mother loved it. we ordered dal khichdi, bhakri ,pital, lollypop, all items was good taste staff supportable , well spoken, owner is directly invovled . Maintenance is bit low. Hot water is through solar but not enough heated water to bath. Sink was leaking. No door stopper at door. The gaps in door were not sealed properly. At night due to excessive windy conditions, the room got pretty cold. Extra quilt not given , only blankets provided. Overall, the property was not worth the money
