I was accompanying my brother for his exams and Pooja and Aiyush made sure that our stay was comfortable. Their hospitality was impeccable. The delicious homemade food was the cherry on top. Will definitely suggest Khas Mahal to people visiting Agra.

Eventhough my stay was really short because of waking up early for beautiful taj mahal, I enjoyed my stay here. The hosts are really sweet, helpful, easy going and social. Room was really spacious and clean.

Absolutely nothing

This place is so welcoming it was like staying with family. Words cannot describe how lovely Aiyush and Pooja are, they go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable experience. Aiyush helped us in so many ways, from rescuing us from an awful place in New Delhi to organising a tuk tuk for three days with the wonderful Vicky and transport for the rest of our trip. Pooja is the most amazing chef and I am privileged to have had a cooking lesson with her. The food was so delicious that we had to loosen our belts😂 we were so sad to leave but we will return. Good luck with your move to the new place with the fantastic view of the Taj Mahal

Pooja & Aiyush were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome from the time we arrived. Their Homestay was everything we had hoped for, and the food was amazing. Aiyush and Pooja were exceptionally welcoming. They contacted us the day before to confirm arrival. They both spoke excellent English and were able to give lots of advice about transport and sights (in addition to Taj Mahal). They provide meals in the Homestay and after our first dinner we didn’t eat anywhere else. Pooja also gives cookery demonstrations and we are looking forward to some Indian food adventures when go home. They are both genuinely friendly and we had lots of interesting chats and discussions- we felt part of the family!

Everything was perfect.

The hosts are truly amazing. They made us feel at home and took real good care of us by making us late night dinner when we arrived after train delay. The room was clean and the living area was also very nice where we could rest after checking out too. Highly recommend staying with Pooja and Aayush!

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

We spent three nights in Agra in this beautiful and well maintained apartment. Our bedroom was big, the bathroom as well and everything was as described in the pictures. The location Is also good in a beautiful quarter a Little aside but far from the strong noise. The quality of sleep has been very good. What Is really making the difference Is Ayush and Pooja's welcoming. They are perfect hosts, nice, helpful with any kind of information and of a very good conversation. Breakfast Is varied and abundant and Pooja Is a very good Cooker! We had dinner at the apartment and you could understand that She Is very fond of cooking. Thanks again for your welcoming!!!

The service and food met our expectations and needs superbly

Nice location, lovely friendly couple, made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and fresh with nice clean linen on the bed, breakfast and evening meals provided if required at a very reasonable price, and well advised to try as the food was delicious. Taxis or Tuc Tuc services can be easily arranged and the hosts have excellent local knowledge of Agra for all advice

Pooja and Aiyiush are amazing hosts. So warm and friendly. I enjoyed my time with them immensely. They arranged everything and made my trip to Agra so easy. Pooja is an amazing Chef. Some of the best food I had in India. The room was large and comfortable. They are soon moving to a new location that sounds even more amazing.

If we had to mention anything, the matress was quite hard but after a long day in Agra it still slept fine

Location is a little far from the Taj as that's ultimately what people are in Agra for but they set us up with a tuk tuk driver/tour to make up for that so you don't notice it that much.

Pooja and Ayush were fantastic. They helped us book all our train tickets for our trip and were incredibly kind and generous in offering us all that we needed.

The hosts in this home stay are such amazing people, helping with all tipps and tricks to make your travels easier. The cooking skills of Pooja are so incredible that we decided for a cooking class after enjoying her dinner the other day. So if you have the time we can't recommend her cooking class and food enough! They were also really flexible with he check in and out times trying their best to support us with our schedule. We would have loved to stay longer and can't recommend them enough!

The hosts were exceptional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Quite even though in built up area. The food was outstanding value for money and delicious. Wish we had time to do a cooking lesson. Heater and additional blankets if required were free of charge which we found in others places we were charged for. Overall excellent value for money.

Aiyush & Pooja are the best hosts we met in India, from the first second we felt like at home. They helped us organizing a tour guide for the Taj Mahal and we had dinner at their place, which was super super delicious! We absolutely recommend staying at their place when you are in Agra! It‘s calm and a little bit out of town, bit still very close to the Taj.

Localisation is quite isolated from everything. It can be also a positive thing because was quiet. Walls and the roof in the bathroom could be repaired. It looks like mould.

Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! We got the heating in our room. WiFi was working perfectly.

Restroom can be improved

If you’re looking for European standards this is not the place for you. If otherwise you are looking for a lovely family hosting you in their house this is the perfect place for you! At Khas Mahal homestay We felt like home for one night. They prepared for us a very good and fresh Indian dinner, we had an interesting conversation and they also gave us tips and suggestions on Varanasi and Delhi. Breakfast is delicious! Thank you 🙏🏻
