Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

IndiaInsects, no AC or proper fan. The location is good but out off the way and without a car no-one should stay there. If you like to trek, one can look at this place. New property so has certain limitations. No AC so during summer very unpleasant. Electricity failure a common feature and without a fan at night its difficult. One cannot keep window or door open in the verandah for insects.
New place, quiet place to unwind. View is spectacular so are the natural beauty around. The owner has an eye for plants and hence the property blooms. Food is also very homely and nutritional.

IndiaPlants in the room invited insects. This could be avoided for future guests. Also net doors on the attached balcony and skylights could be useful in securing the washrooms from insects.

IndiaNothing but a signboard at a few places would help in locating the property.
The property is located on top of a hill with ample parking space and has a modern European look. The owner Mr Dong, his Multi talented wife and his son, Prabhal welcomed us in the traditional way and served us hot lunch which was out of this world. Due to traffic I was a bit late in arriving at the destination and much to my surprise I found Prabhal was waiting at Mangalbarey village to welcome us and guide us to the property. Mrs Dong has maintained a beautiful garden with all sorts of plants and flowers and she grows most of her vegetables. The rooms are modern and spacious and each room has a double bed and a single bed. The view from the property (and if your are lucky to get a room with a balcony) is just fantastic) Mrs Dong is very warm and hospitable and she served us a variety of dishes each one more tastier than the other. I recommend you to taste her peach wine which she makes herself. We were spoilt for choice when breakfast was served and i really loved the buckwheat rotis she served. The staff are also very warm and helpful and made us feel at home. And oh if you have a pet do take it along as there is lot of space outside for walking and running. Had taken my French Bulldog along and he just felt at home running up and down and trying to make friends with the three cats. Shall definitely be back for a longer stay.
