Initially I did not like the fact that the car had to be parked a kilometer away from this homestay. But, I eventually understood that the old town is such that one could barely walk, let alone get a car. I did not like the quality of the shampoo and shower gel in the room, may be something to consider. The lake view room is spacious but very basic. The mattress for extra guests were left on the floor. The drinking water have to be picked up from the reception each night. We stayed two nights but I'm not sure whether they provide housekeeping services daily. The balcony in the lake view room can also be bit enhanced rather than having just a chair there.

Although this homestay, does not make a great first impression, I liked the fact that it is in close proximity to everything that is happening in and around Udaipur. The view from the Lake View Suite is best to none. The friendliness of staff and the hospitality of those who run the business - Faisal, Danish and their mother - is what would make you to go back to them. The restaurant on the top floor offers great view and the chef can cook anything that you ask for and even if they do not have something on the menu, they will go out of your way to get it for you. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay - hot shower, clean towels and a comfortable mattress.

Some lower rooms can be noisy as there’s a mosque near and the street can be a bit noisy as it’s a little street. High rooms are not.

The best is the terrace, it’s amazing, a wonderful view of the lake, city palace, etc. the rooms are ok, we didn’t have the best so I’m sure they can be better. The staff is helpful but could speak better English. The owner is really nice and takes good care of his hosts.

The hotel is near Ambrai Ghat. The Pichola Lake view from the rooftop is awesome. The owner is very helpful with any concerns that you may have. The hotel doesn't feel like a hotel but a very decorated stay which you'll love.

No parking possibility due to hotel location in middle of the city.

Hotel is very good with all amenities and very friendly staff. Only challenge is if you are comming by your own car you have to find the parking location and later take rickshaw or two wheeler to reach the hotel as it is situated in the middle of the main city beside the lake.

Host Danish was very helpful and kind. He suggested the site seeing plan which really helped us. Also, he arranged an auto riksha to make sure that we reached railway station on time as we were having very cut to cut plan during our last day in Udaipur.

A home away from home. Best part is terrace. It definitely has the best view terrace. In night, the music and views makes it even more amazing. Definitely recommend it. Budget friendly.

Everything was great, but my (!) room could have been a little but more comfortable...

Very nice family maintaining the place! The rooftop is excellent and on its own made it worth staying there! They let you put your luggage there over the day and let me stay longer in my room because i was sick. The staff on the rooftop gave us great advice on how to spend our time in Udaipur!

Some rooms were dated and needs renovation on lower floor, we were offred an upgrade with a marginal price. Reaching to the hotel was difficult for the auto, I think it will be better if some Board with Direction for Hotel Lake star can be placed on cross roads.

Awesome Terrace Restaurent with Beutiful views of Lake Pichola! The hosts are great, Farida Aunty made us feel at home away from home. Would Definitely recommend and Hope to visit again soon. We had a nice room with Balcony, plenty of sunlight and fresh air!
