This was my second stay at Hotel Sunset Orchha. I returned because I had liked it so much the previous year. Mr. Mahipal, the manager is incredibly helpful and cooks a delicious breakfast. It's a very quite place with a lovely view of the Orchha from the roof terrace. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will probably return each time I stay in Orchha.

One of the best hotels ever!! I won't be forgetting this stay anytime soon. I've had the time of my life at Sunset and eventhough I haven't left Orchha yet, I can't wait to come back. The location is super convenient with lots of great options for food and activities nearby. The terrace is absolutely gorgeous, super picturesque- especially at sunrise! And the rooms are clean, spacious and so comfortable. With incredible natural light! I can't remember ever having slept so peacefully on a hotel bed. If you're looking to make friends, look no further. My time at Sunset has been so special to me. The staff in particular has been the highlight. They've been so helpful and attentive, and will go out of their way to make sure your every need is met. They' re truly special and I'm glad 1 get to call them my friends now. Thank you for everything Hotel Sunset, I'l be back soon!

Must visit hotel if you are in Orchha + I came as solo traveller in Orchha,from the time i entered the hostel,all the staff is so welcoming and warm,i was so confused before coming here but they made it out easy,from check-in to check-out they assisted in everything .some points i really like to mention :- 1.Cleanliness : Rooms is so spacious with view,you will get direct sunlight in your room which is not possible in many hotels,and mattress is so comfortable, bedsheets, towels, washrooms, common area everything is clean and give you fresh vibes. Housekeeping staff is so supportive whenever you ask them to clean they will do in minutes 2.Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi speed is great, you can do work cation from this property. 3.Food: They have Prepare Homecooked Breakfast which is really tasty. 3.Location : This is the best property in Orchha ,they have mountain view from some Rooms ,and also 360' view. 4. Staff : Everthing is depend on the staff of any property,the staff there is cherry on cake , they are so warm, so welcoming, they will assist you in everthing. A minor point: much of the space in the room was taken by an over-large bed so that there was no space for a couple of chairs, for instance. However, guests could sit in the area immediately outside where there was a table and chairs.

Everything at Hotel Sunset Orchha is just absolutely beautiful. Right from the adopted cat you’ll meet at the reception to the views from the rooftop. But the thing that really stands out at this hostel is the people managing the property. Aniket, Mahipal, Mayank and Rinku really make you feel like home. The hotel is located at close proximity to most of the tourist destinations in Orchha. So you can explore in the day and chill with everyone at the rooftop later in the night. I went to Orchha for 3 days but stayed there for 9 days just because I wasn’t willing to leave the the hostel. So if you are in Orchha, do not look anywhere else. This is the place folks. You won’t regret it trust me :)

The place, the people, the location, the room and everything about the place. They helped me book a taxi at the best possible price in the town and in the state of emergency when no other tuktuk drivers were ready to drop me to Jhansi Railway Station. We stumbled upon this page by chance but stayed there for the whole trip by choice. The warm welcome the friendly environment made us stay longer than we had planned. The manager Aniket was sweet warm and kind and so helpful. We felt so comfortable instantly. The rooms were small but clean and very comfortable and worth the price paid. The itinerary was one of the best thing and the only time I got something like this ever. The view was breathtaking to wake up to and to stay late at night looking at. The terrace became our place to just sit and capture the beauty of Orchha. Listening to the sound of aarti was humbling experience. This place made Orchha feel like home.

I am grateful that I found this property at a very decent cost considering its location and the view it provides. The location of the property is in the center of the city and all attractions are close. Moreover its just beside Ramraja Temple and the view is absolutely stunning be it any time of the day. Regarding the hospitality, the owner, property manager and care takers were very helpful, warm and welcoming even before my reached to my destination. The owner was grateful to reach out and guide me to reach the hostel and even the property manager was helpful in the same manner. During my stay the property manager was very friendly and helpful. He helped me regarding the places I could visit and also for food! I didn't feel that I was meeting them for the first time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyway who wish to visit Orchha and wants to have a hostel experience during their stay.

The stay in the hotel was great. Pros 1. Good, spacious rooms for couples are available. 2. Great location ( RamRaja Temple, Raja Fort, Jahangir Fort, Hardol Vatika, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Cenotaphs all within 800 meters) 3. Co-operative & Helpful Staff. 4. The location, the property is like 500 metres from the Raja Ram Mandir. The host Aniket is very friendly and intelligent. He took me to the terrace and gave me information about the entire Orchha, it's history and all. He's very knowledgeable. The rooms were huge and the bathrooms were as huge as the rooms haha. No complaints.

Hotel Sunset and this is the same property. A great initiative by the owner's son to encourage more and more bookings. They offers the room at last minute at the very low price on this terminal. It's great for someone who is going to check-in late and check-out early. The service was great. Home cooked food was a gem. The owner is best. Everyone should go with Aniket to the rooftop to know how to travel in Orchha. Get more and more information about orchha's hidden places. The Deluxe AC room was great and the price was very low for the room they offered. It's a perfect place to stay in Orchha.

Best facilities at the lowest price possible. Best deal in India. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The linens were clean. Rooms were absolutely great. TV had adequate channels. Lighting in the room was perfect. Loved the smell at this hotel. Home-cooked breakfast was that makes my stay delightful. Overall a great experience.

The bathroom was not clean at all. The walls were covered in dirt that had built up over time. Taps and sink were not clean there was grime on it. The air-conditioning in the room made an awful noise constantly.

The family who run this are really lovely people. Very helpful and tried hard to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was basic but served its purpose. They ensured we had a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. There was a TV which we did not use. Wifi was good.
