Probably because I went at the end of the season, there weren’t many foreigners or any activities organized by the hostel. The WiFi didn’t work sometimes, mostly in the evening and the mattresses were not the comfiest but it was overall a nice stay.

Hostel and staff were very nice, dorms are good and there is a small common area downstairs and a rooftop. Very central, a 5 min walk to the main Leh market, so a great location.

We would welcome a little more cleaning from the hostel stuff, all of stayed for almost a week, so it would be nice to clean at least bathroom a bit more often.

Great location, 3 minutes walk from the cetre. We stayed in 4-beds dorm, which was enough for 5 nights stay for budget travellers.

LeHostel fulfills all of the basic needs for a place to stay in Leh. Its rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Clean drinking water is always available. The geysers run reliably. The beds are sturdy with comfortable mattresses along with a clean comforter. The staff help out whenever they can. Its location is good and it is within walking distance of the Leh Market road and the Leh Royal Palace. It also runs a small but great canteen for residents. I had a cheese omelette during breakfast often. The managers are excellent, very responsive and helpful. The common terrace offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.

my friends and I are a group of 4. the staff gave us a dormitory room to ourselves. staff is very friendly and answered our questions about Leh. Theres also drinking water for guests

You should be prepared to walk up the stairs to your room with your luggage (2 floors), no lift. The approach road to the facility is pretty narrow, the 4 wheeler might have to go back in the reverse gear after dropping you for 100m

The bed in the dorms room was expensive (comped to other hostels) and the Beds are not that comfortable..

The place is clean, nice rooftop with option to turn on bon fire 🔥. The stuff was nice and ok with us:)

Bed is super hard! We also got some laundry done but it was still quite damp when we got it back.

Great location, close to main market and plenty of places to eat. Room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the balcony and the roof terrace and the views were amazing.

Some rooms are right next to the hotel's entrance and the common space so it can be a little noisy at night. If it bothers you, ask for rooms at the higher floors.

Kitchen hours were limited, the roof didn't have any enclosed sitting area to shield from the cold winds in Leh.

There is no lift, so for some, this might be difficult. Also, they are reluctant to do an online transfer. Online transfers will take additional 2%. So carry cash. There is also no room service since this is a hostel.

The property is so ideally located with view of the Leh city and palace. Highly recommended for stays on budget!

-The downstairs common room. Whilest the rooftop had an amazing atmosphere, when its cold or windy at night you don't want to be up there. The downstairs common area feels a bit stagnant and the staff use it as their hangout area- playing really loud music and watching movies in there- killing the social vibe.

-The rooms and bedding were spotlessly clean, the bathrooms were exceptionally clean too -The rooftop Terrace was an incredible spot to chill out and had amazing views of the city. The terrace alone is reason to stay here -The price and location is amazing. 2 minute walk to the main bazaar, right in the old town and 5 minutes from the Palace
