The property wasn’t well maintained especially the bathroom. Not expected at the steep room tariff.

The staff were very courteous and hard working. The food was delicious - freshly cooked. The cook did an amazing job. The location was beautiful. Both these factors more than made up for the lack of upkeep of the property. The place had its own charm. Little away from main market in midst of fir trees. Beautiful view from our balcony. You had order your meals in advance so that the staff gets the ingredients from market which meant freshly cooked hot meals.

The property is severely understaffed. Just 3 people including manager for 9 rooms. Also, the staff is not properly trained in hospitality. Staff was good-natured overall, just that everything including serving breakfast, getting dinner or small room service items was super slow. Also the rooms are dingy. Hygiene is just okay, and the toilets are simply bad. It’s not a good feeling to be in these rooms.

The location is really good although getting cabs to the property from Pahalgam main market is a task.

Heaters were given in the water only for an hour. Geysers werent always functional, water wasn't always available. Food was terrible. Really exorbitant for the low quality accommodation.

Though it might a while longer to reach the hotel, it's location among the woods is beautiful. Our room was cozy and the staff was very helpful. The hotel manager Firdaus took good care of all our needs. Highly recommended!
