I arrived late at night and it was very difficult to find the entrance as there aren’t signs with Locomo Express outside the building. I wouldn’t call it a 24/7 reception as the front door was closed and staff was sleeping. Not the smoothest check-in unfortunately.

The vibe was nice, with travelers from Indian and all over the world. The private room was clean.

It is a little bit hard to see the place from the road because there is no large signage or anything. Not a huge issue at all. Just know that the Google Maps location is correct! You just need to walk through their shaded driveway/patio area from the street to enter the hotel.

This property was awesome. Extremely clean (especially when compared to other similarly priced hostels we experienced in India), well located, and had everything we needed! The staff was friendly, welcoming and super helpful when we needed laundry done or wanted to order food (which was even delivered to our room!) We tried the dinner our first night since we were too tired to go anywhere after our flights, and I would absolutely recommend it - homemade and delicious. Our private room was super spacious, had cold AC, hot water, great shower pressure, plenty of towels, and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in the past 3 months. It seems like many similarly priced accommodations are often missing at least one of those essentials. Either the hot water doesn’t work or the pressure is low or the bed is too firm or something else like that. The Locomo was a 10/10 in every way for us! I highly recommend this place for a private room at an affordable price point in Mumbai.

It is not easy to find the hostel

In hostel, you could eat nice Indian foods than outside and then you will love the foods. On the other hand, the staffs are very friendly.

The WiFi connection in our room could be improved, in the other areas it worked fine.

We stayed in a private room and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was especially helpful when we needed help to get a vaccination. Overall good Hostel with a delicious breakfast which surprised us every day with something new.

The staff was amazing, everyone super helpful! Breakfast also was nice, the hotel was really clean, bathrooms were new too. The location was good, close to the railway station, however it always took some time to get to the city center and back (around 3 hours per day, so keep that in mind).

Sometimes the wifi wasn’t working

Shiva and all the others were wonderful staff! They were very helpful, kind and respectful. The dorms and bathrooms were very comfortable and the common area was very cozy. I’d love to come back one day!

The kitchen staff is a little lost and ordering food from the kitchen is a hassle.

The property is very clean and the staff is very helpful. They allowed me to use the common room way after check out as I had a flight at midnight. Breakfast is the best one I've had in India till date.

It’s maybe a bit expensive for what it is, but then again everything in Mumbai is pricey.

A well organised, clean hostel in the Santa Cruz area. A short walk to Santa Cruz station or a nice long walk down to Bandra area. This hostel serves a great breakfast. The staff are really lovely and helpful. You can call them if you need anything.
