No TV in the room, huge problems with a water - there was no water in the evening and first day morning at all. AC without controller, so does not work - we had to open windows and there was so many mosquitoes...

The bedding is old and could be refreshed ( holes in sheets etc).we found hairs in our bed sheets. The ground floor rooms are noisy until after 11 pm with lots of honking vehicles and sounds of people watching TV. Nothing good earplugs can't fix.

Lucky was very personable and understanding. The rooms were generous and the bathrooms clean. The view from the rooftop of the Taj is really great and a highlight. For the price, it was a good stay.

There was nothing to dislike

Superb travellers hotel in the thick of the action in the Ganjpath. Two minute walk to the Taj and stunning views of the Taj from the terrace restaurant. Excellent staff, helpful, informative and all with a sense of humour. Very clean rooms with a great shower - who could ask for more? Staff lit a fire pit in the private coutyard outside the room areas for a perfect end to a lovely day accompanied by a couple of beers - don't think it could have been better. After an abscence of 39 years from Agra and the Ganjpath I was delighted to see that the area had changed little but the standard of accomdtion had. Terrific!

The facilities definitely need some improvement - the bathroom, the walls, the door that let's the cold air from outside. However, this is a budget accommodation, it might be a matter of choosing between saving money and comfort. Peharps, there are other options in the same area, but we only tried this one, as we found that for two nights it was ok.

The location is great, you can walk to Taj Mahal for the sunrise very easily. The staff helped us book bus tickets to Delhi, which we appreciated. We also had the omelette for breakfast at the restaurant, and it was really good.

Bathroom was outdated, no hot water or a flushing toilet. Room was very cold, as we stayed in a winter month- could do with a heater.

I liked the place, very good location and nice staff. However, I believe couple of things can be improved. First of all, we stayed there for two nights and each day we would get a set of new clean towels. The issue was that the towel had quite an unpleasant odor, as if they were ceaned and then stored somewhere for a few years. Second, there quite a few mosquitos in the room. The owner places an electrical repellent in the room, but I guess some additional measure would be beneficial

The rooms smelled like smoke and were not very clean. The bedsheet we had was completely ripped, but they folded it so we didn’t see it beforehand. I slept in my sleeping liner because it didn’t feel clean at all.

Literally 1 minute from the entrance gate of the Taj Mahal, the location couldn’t be better. Nice rooftop where you can chill and hang out. Staff was very friendly.
