Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe booked half board and at checking it was not made clear that a la cart was not part of the package. Perhaps it was our fault that we also did not check, so we had to pay for one night meal. Bit annoying but the lady receptionist did her best.
The restaurant staff were excellent. Imanual and the team did everything to make our meals at the restaurant an enjoyable experience. The food was really good. The hotel is located in a better part of Bangalore. The rooms were clean and we were upgraded. We used the spa and it was great.

IndiaThe food is not very good and there are very few options for food. There is also a time for certain food, and you can't order it after certain hours, which I don't like. There are also plenty of options in the buffet, but after two days I got bored with them. Additionally, the restaurant area is very small compared to other hotels. Some of my foreign colleagues come for dinner and don't feel comfortable because we're all romping around so close together because there's not much space.
The service is outstanding, I have Vikas and Shiva as my floor caretakers. The room cleaning is also very precise, so I always feel like I am walking into a brand new room. Staff in hotel, as well as those in the restaurant, are extremely polite and well mannered. Having all the amenities at your disposal makes staying in a suite comfortable and easy. Photos of all items in the room have been added.

Hong KongDifficult to find parking, my partner and I came with a private car and most of the spots were taken, eventually the staff helped us find a place to park. Would have been nice if they let us know where to park so as to avoid us having to loop back around again.
I was only here for a night, was looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay before my flight the next day. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable with all facilities that I required for my stay. Snacks were brought up to my room and a gift offered to me upon departing which was a nice gesture.

IndiaIf you choose half board, you may want to go for a la carte as there is not much variety in the food. There is loud party music in the restaurant, which may be a bit too much for those who prefer a quieter environment... We requested a change to in-room dining, and the staff was very accommodating.
Cleanliness of the facility, attentive staff. Excellent response to our needs with top-notch care. Right after our check-in, we received an automated email from the hotel to evaluate the check-in process. We also felt that the hotel was willing to catch and improve even small issues, both in terms of technology and manpower. As a parting gift, we were also pleased to receive a fine soap made by socially vulnerable women (as explained to us by the manager). It was heartwarming to know that someone in a position of corporate authority made a decision with the welfare of society in mind and provided quality, practical gift to the guests. (As a parent, it gave me the opportunity to explain to my child what an ideal leadership looks like.. so thank you fot that.) We'll definitely revisit the premise if we were in the area.
