Very good location, close to railway station and bus stand. At great distance from all the fancy restaurants. Property is well maintained, all basic amenities are provided and the staff is helpful.

Social scenes. People don't hang out in their terrace area as such to mingle, maybe because it's in the open and lots of mosquitoes there. If you guys closed it and added more things to do, people will definitely come there to hang out and connect :)

Micasa hostels - my first solo trip hostel and boy am I glad i picked this place. Very safe and well connected, it's walkable distance from all cute cafes of pondi. Hosts Sam and Sandeep very friendly , they helped me with everything - bike rents, places to visit etc. Hostel is very well maintained, clean. Washrooms are constantly being cleaned by their staff. I would definitely recommend this hostel to others and especially solo traveling females.

Honestly , the facilities are amazing and this is just nitpicking. One full length mirror in girl's dorm rooms would be good. Few latches for the storage spaces were broken.

The location of the hostel is very accessible, 1.5km from the bus stand, walkable distance from Rock Beach. Has security at the front gate. If you arrive before check in time there is sufficient space at the front desk, accessible washrooms to freshesn up , drinking water available . Drop your luggage and enjoy the sunrise at Rock beach , have breakfast at the restaurant at the ground floor of the building and be back for check in. Rooms are well maintained, sheets & blankets clean. Storage space under bunk beds. AC & Fan equipped. Common bathrooms , separate for men & women- clean , geyser and shower available. Separate area for drying clothes and kitchen area with microwave & fridge available. Has 2 levels of open rooftop to enjoy some cool breeze in the evenings. The staff is extremely helpful and will accommodate your requests to the best of their ability. Shout out to Sandeep for being an amazing host!

The bathroom was really hot and humid at all times, there were fans but it was a shame no AC. The rooftop was a nice place to chill but the chairs were weird and uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff, comfortable beds with privacy curtains which is important to me. Well located on a busy street, walking distance to most places of interest. Great to have AC in rooms. Nice rooftop area to chill despite weird chairs. Overall a really nice hostel!

Helpful staff. Can do laundry and dry it on lines on balcony or stands on roof. Walking distance (15-30min) from bus station, even closer to railroad. Charger for each bed. Next door restaurant is good. TP provided, but bring your own towel and soap. Water purifier at sink dispenses drinking water.

Checkin and check out timing should be bit relaxed, checkout bt 10.30 is a difficult task as most of the transport from the city started after 7pm

The property is well maintained and the staff were so friendly and helpfull in regards with the places around andfood apecialities. We can sit as long as even after checkout also and there are balcony and terrace where we can sit and relax at night

My sheets weren't changed in 4 days, staff didn't seem to care much either. They have built Micasa really well but their maintenance game can be upped a notch. 2nd floor bathrooms are wet all the time, etc. And the provision for clothes drying works only if it's not raining because it's out in the open in the balcony.

Amazing location - it's at a stone's throw away from White Town, Baker Street is walkable, a gazillion bike rentals available close by and it's nestled nicely in a super busy market area. So 10/10 on location for anything you want to do in Pondy. Even to travel to Auroville, rent a bike and it's 1 straight road from Micasa. Made some amazing friends as a solo traveller. The common areas are great to hang out at (kitchen, terrace etc).

The location and the staff of Micasa are both exceptional! The beds were extremely comfortable albeit bunk beds and it added to the fun of things. The common spaces are beautifully used and the amenities provided were brilliant! The bathrooms are clean and spotless and it was a fun and enjoyable stay! Will do it again.

The whole place was clean. They provided the option to leave the luggage there and check in later since I reached the property early in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mr.Manoj. Wifi was fast and stable.

The place is really good. There’s a vegetarian restaurant in the same building. Special mention to shafeek from the hostel who helped us with a lot of things. Great place and friendly staff. Keep up, best place in Pondicherry ❤️
