I think a pool spot is missing and maybe they’re building one not sure.

The exceptional experience of living in nature while not worrying about any needs. The room was very neat and comfortable for us. The breakfast quality was phenomenal and fresh.

    A tranquil and idyllic paradise

The white bread served with the mezze plate was surprisingly disappointing. Although we later learned that we could request a bread change, we were unaware of this option initially. However, this was a minor inconvenience for us. The spa environment, unfortunately, felt a bit outdated. The foot massage chairs, showers, and some areas showed signs of wear and could have been cleaner. This aspect of our experience was somewhat disappointing.

After our adventurous and eventful trip across India, we discovered Mojigao to be a tranquil and idyllic paradise. The foot and body massages offered were particularly rejuvenating. With minimal distractions, Mojigao provided the perfect environment for relaxation and introspection. Whether it was meditating, lounging on the terrace, or simply enjoying quiet moments with loved ones, there was ample opportunity for serenity. The lush greenery surrounding Mojigao added to its charm, creating a serene ambiance that I personally found enchanting. Upon arrival, we were greeted with refreshing fresh juice, and the delicious breakfast served only heightened our satisfaction. Last but certainly not least, I highly recommend trying the orange veg cakes; they are truly outstanding. The bakery here showcases exceptional culinary skills, and these cakes were simply amazing. Mojigao has truly mastered the art of indulgence.

Almost perfect stay in a stunning garden with a great team of people.

We thought the one big thing missing for guests who are staying (as opposed to those who come just for the restaurant) was a space/s in the gardens with some loungers to sit/lie and read a book. If you're staying for a few days and want to just chill & relax (as opposed to explore the area) this means you really only have your cottage or the restaurant. There was a hammock in a small garden just in front of our cottage but it wasn't very comfortable and there's only one whereas there were 2 of us! That space could, with a little bit of work, have 2 sun loungers then it would be perfect. The only other thing we didn't like was the fact that there was always music coming from the restaurant - all day and evening til about 10pm. It was a great playlist and for some of the time it was enjoyable, but there wasn't an opportunity to just sit in silence with the birds, it made the "quiet area" notices in the garden somewhat ironic as it was never quiet!

Big thumbs up for the team and how helpful they were. Nothing was too much trouble and they obliged with some "off menu" requests. Good food & some interesting things on the menu (particularly during the day, less so in the evening). Really good, plentiful inclusive breakfast. Being a yoga teacher, I loved the yoga shala and the morning class and thought the spa was very good, the facial I had was lovely and excellent communication from the spa manager. The extensive gardens are absolutely STUNNING and really well kept. Loved seeing all the different birds. Beautifully designed room and comfy bed.

I had a massage at the spa and I was told that I could get a 30 min headmassage for free as a guest. I made an appointment for it via Whatsapp but when I showed up no one was available. I was told to come back the next day but I had to leave that day. That was dissapointing though.

We stayed for 5 days to relax and unwind, it was a wonderful and unique experience. I really enjoyed the life music, bird watching and the tasty food and drinks. Their breakfast is a feast! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They keep an eye on your needs and make sure you have an excellent experience. No worries at Mojigao! I am fully charged and I am looking forward to visit them again. If you need to slow down and take a break, you have to book your cottage. You won't regret it.

Found the food really oily. Called at 08. 30 on Day of arrival when I wanted to be asleep and hassle on what time I arrive. Would of liked the apples provided In Room on arrival every day. If I had checked out and checked in every day I would of had. It's a nice touch...missing

When they know you it's nicer. Able to get moped, and serviced nicely

It would nice to have more local cuisine items in addition to the more European menu options.

The location is tucked away from crowds but it’s still very close to Mapusa. The markets there are vast and very reasonably priced. The food at Mojigao was incredibly tasty and fresh. The tranquility of the gardens surrounding the cabins is magical, especially at night with the lights and all the animal sounds you can hear. Staff are very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about local surroundings and activities.

I cannot think of a single thing.

The property is breathtaking. It’s surrounded by nature, you feel like you’re in a different world as soon as you enter, natural and tranquil. Then you have the rooms, they have been created with so much care and attention, with an eye on little details like offering black jaggery as your tea sweetener or a fan for the goan heat in the bathroom. The bed is soft and comfortable and there’s something magical waking up to the sound of chirping birds surrounded by nature. And then you have the staff, super attentive, polite and friendly. Alvin, our customer experience manager, had a super human energy - always catering to our needs almost before we expressed them- and he did that consistently with all the guests. Mojigao is a gem, the only downside of staying here is that every other property you will stay in goa after it will pale in comparison. We cannot wait to go back here.

no cellular reception. wifi was faulty. frequently used to stop working. if you are here to stay for longer period of time and have to attend to work calls then it is very inconvenient. to get good cellular data reception you have to exit property on to the main road. Overall stay pricing can be a little lower.

There are some renovations ongoing and it should be completed soon but this shouldn't be any concern to worry as all precautions are being taken to maintain the peaceful experience

This was one of the best rooms we have stayed in and has the most peaceful environment around. The size of the balcony/sit-out is amazing and you can spend your entire day peacefully there. Ms. NIRMALA was outstanding with her hospitality- starting from the experience of booking to checking-in to room description to small little detailing to checkout. Absolutely wonderful!

The yoga schedule was unreliable, probably because of the Diwali festivities. I could not pay at the spa with credit card, though eventually I managed.

The best breakfast ever! Or among the best... Guests can choose from a la carte menu, it's not a buffet. The fresh fruit juices are delicious. The food ranges from typical egg-based breakfast items, to veg-based sandwiches and toasts, to mediterranean dishes such and hummus and shakshuka, to salads, to sweets and flakes etc. The espresso is pretty good, though the blend is a bit too roasted (at least for an Italian). Everything served efficiently in a lovely setting immersed in the tropical forest. The room is spacious and clean, with much storage space. The room is equipped with a fridge, air conditioning and fan, all perfectly functional. The setting is very pleasant and relaxing, all the cottages are in the forest and equipped with a furnished outdoor deck. The staff is friendly and professional. They put me in touch with Hanuman taxi, who works very well for airport rides and also for touring the sites of interest around Mojigao. I could write much more positive stuff....

During our stay there were frequent power cuts and that was a big nuisance. We also had some unwanted guests- a lizard, a frog, a centipede in our room. (The staff did come and clear them out) Also, it would be nice if coffee sachets are provided in the room to make our own coffee. The restaurant serves vegan/ veg food mainly with few sea food options. No meat.

Mojigao is a beautiful property nestled in a green haven of trees and shrubs. It is a unique stay option especially in Goa. We loved the quiet location , the cool environment. All the best of Goa’s high end restaurants and boutiques are in the Assagaon area. Assagaon is also centrally placed if u want to cover both North Goa and Panjim. Nearest beach is 20-25 mins away. The best part of Mojigao is the wonderful staff and their hospitality. A special shout out to Alvin, Nirmala and Sanket. The staff were very responsive and helpful and everyone always had a smile on their face.
