I'm so glad I chose this home stay for my trip in Srinagar. It was such a lovely stay. The host and his family were extremely hospitable, helped us to arrange everything and treated us exceptionally nice. Taste and quality of food is excellent, serves both veg and N.veg food but with properly separation with differnt utensils used in kitchen for preparation also for eating... Hotel owner is very good and humble person I met them once while staying. Thank you.

Mr Aashiq is well behaved and helping by nature. The room rent is very reasonable. Room and attached washroom are very spacious and well maintained. Hot water and Heating in room are full serviceable.

Slightly far from the main city, but close to one of a beautiful park and lake. Though i was on a solo trip on my bike so it was okay for me to commute

Superb property - very neat and very very clean. On a serious note i really don’t like to spend many days at one location due to untidy spaces but trust me this places was super clean and beds and pillows were super clean. No shoes were allowed inside the property and the breakfast was just awesome. Aashiq was equally an awesome and super supporting guy. Do meet him once you are there

Excellent choice here! The rooms are comfortable and elegant. I recommend to first time travelers because the hosts are perfectly accommodating. As Americans and first time visitors we were so comfortable here. The hosts happily answered our questions, helped us order our food, guided us to safe favorite places and even accompanied us to events that needed more guidance. A very special connection.

A Fabulous place to stay and relax with Nature view. Rooms are large and very well maintained. Lots of open spaces to sit and relax. Had an amazing stay Mr. Aashiq is seriously a Gentlemen i personally felt completely like my brother we were suppose to stay for 2days but we extended addition day it was completely like our home. He helped to get Tickets for local programs & he helped us to visit local places such as Gulmarg , Sonmarg, Boat Shikara, We highly recommend this to all.Thank you for making us very comfortable Mr.Aashiq..💞

Moonshine Home stay is special. And if you are going, try to book a room that has the private room . It's stunning. The host is also very nice, courteous and the quality of the room is quite decent as well. You can enjoy the beauty of the nature from the garden and during the monsoon period, the visuals are stunning..

We are from Kerala and stayed 2 days in Moonshine homestay... It was really excellent experience... It's feel like our home... The aunty and uncle was very caring... It is very safe to stay here... Aunty helped us a lot while we got food poisoning having food from outside. So strongly recommending to have food from the homestay itself it is so hygiene and homely. All the tourist places very near to the place so location is also good. Since we are from Kerala we like to have south indian food and they arranged it for us. I strongly recommended this place who need a good location and safe place to stay.

The location, rooms and amenities, food and home stay staff all make a great stay experience for you and deserve a 5 star rating! The staff is very passionate about their work and handle everything professionally.❤️We, 13 of us all family members had a short stay at this place and really we felt, were at home. The owner we could not meet but the way his daughters are managing whether it is room neatness/cleanliness, hospitality and flexibility/adjustment, next time I will definitely choose this place. We arrived late at around 11pm at night, they cooked and served food for us. Hat's off
