The owner family was really friendly and helpful!! I asked before for a room with a window and the owner did answer fast that it’s no problem. I think we had the best room (top floor) and it was so nice that it was quiet. Also I have to say that the house/ room was so clean and you can reach everything around by walking. Loved it. Thank you for everything!

The accommodation is very simple and very old but you‘ll be right at the heart of Varanasi!

The Hosting Family is incredibly nice and helpful! We had great activities from a boat ride on the Ganges River, a walking tour through Varanasi to perfect seats for viewing „Aarti“

The only thing I would suggest is to provide longer beds. I'm 180 cm, and my whole feet stay off the bed while liying.

We felt like home at Mother Hostel. The family is friendly, kind, and very helpful. All the facilities, including the room and bathroom, were extremely clean and well maintained. Also, the room is quite spacious. If you need anything, from food to tours, money exchange, laundry service, everything can be arranged by them. Also, the location is great, just a short walk from some of the main landmarks in Varanasi.

The owner was friendly and helpfull, he knew what we needed and how to help us he answer at each of our questions. the hostel is in perfect place really near with gange and the different ceremony like 10 minute by feet. The room was comfortable

Our room had no window so no natural light, and there wad a large grate into the communal area so it was quite loud and lacked privacy.

Cheap hostel close to the Ganga and the ghats and the main bazaar. Friendly host and family, they arranged a great boat tour for us.

We are from Tamilnadu Dindigul . Food nice, Arrangements if you discuss he arranged well for pooja and site seeing . Total 5 days staying with family. All our family members enjooy the trip. We recommend "Mothers Hostel" is cheap and best at KASI.

The dog is a tad noisy in the mornings, my laundry came back not smelling clean, with a couple of items still damp so i have had to redo it. I felt a little pushed by the owner, just about buying things, or requesting massage or yoga... my personal space felt a little bit invaded but his heart is in the right place. Could do with being a little more helpful using a map as that's how I get around, I'd prefer not to have to rely on asking tuktuk drivers.

My bed was super comfortable, extended one night as I liked the location and needed the rest. Not my usual hostel but good for the quiet if you don't want to meet anyone.

Well... my room didn't have window. At least not proper one (there is window but it looks on common sittinng area of property) so there is no fresh air directly. Maybe that's why air in room was a little bit dusty. Also, walls are a bit dirty - definitely need new layer of paint. When I was leaving and later in message owner asked me to rate his place with 10 which is a bit tacky.

Location is amazing - in the hart of Varanasi, just around the corrner of Dashashwamedh ghat and around 300 m from river Ganga. Owner is very cooperative, also he offers different packages (like pick up from airport or trip to Sarnath).

I think the price of breakfast wasn't in line with other restaurants in the area. I wish I would have asked about the price before we ordered for multiple days.

Location is hard to beat and the family is just lovely and very helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable. Great pillows!

Nothing as such but the nearest Ghat from the hotel (Munshi Ghat) has a very steep stairs but there are other routes which are more convenient.

I stayed in a family room. The rooms were pretty clean and ordered. Location is very close to ghats , temple and market. Gaurav and family are very helpful. After my stay I was traveling back to my home town and my train got delayed by 8 hours. The rescheduled time of the train was around 2AM and I was looking for some budget hotel or lodge near the station. Gaurav also arranged a hotel at a very reasonable price.
