How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Both toilets /showers were filthy. There are many long time residents in the Dorm taking over most of the reduced space. The location both on maps.me, booking.com is wrong. The hostel is down an alley on the right hand side coming up from the metro station and not on the left

No way to control the air condition and it was way too cold

Nothing. Price is really fair.
Very nice staff who does everything possible to help you enjoy your stay in Mumbai. Very good price. Location near airport T2. Recommended for lay over or even for leaving your luggage for a day and taking a shower in the evening. The hotel is also very close to a metro station from where you can easily reach the south of Mumbai by metro + local train (a new metro line should be built that will connect the metro station directly to south Mumbai, making it even easier).

small spaces, it felt crowded, and I slept in the staff room. they were also fixing the AC really late at night so everything was a mess. and I payed in cash but they did not give me the change back. it wasn’t much but is the intention. it is a good place if you need to be close to the airport, but I would not choose it for seeing the city

I don’t like that the bathrooms are inside the dorm rooms because the wet air from the bathrooms gets into the area where we sleep, but they do keep everything really clean!
The communal/social space is small but has a family feel to it. There are many people staying long-term so there are less foreign travelers to meet, but the long-term people are kind and fun to be around. Excellent staff! And it’s located really close to the airport, which is very convenient.

The commun area is ok.. but small and so not quite.. many people for a little space.. plus I don't like that they was watching TV.. it's makes noise for everyone else not interested about the TV.. ( most of the people actually) I think Mumbai is noizy enough.. so when i come to the hostel i just hope it will be calm and silence.. The fans in the dorms are very noisy.. they are as well not necessarily cause there is AC.. so it is again noizy during the night..
Location is perfect. Dorms is ok.. nothing special but confortable..

Some beds in the dorms have very powerful fans Good for the high temperature in Mumbai but quite noisy during the night.
The hostel is very cozy and the staff super friendly and helpful. The dorms are nice with confortable bed and lockers. We really enjoyed our stay and you can meet different people, from travellers to long term stay. We loved the nights spent together watching movies and chatting. The location is good, close to a metro station and to the airport, with many different food stalls and restaurants. Very good wifi! Kiran and his staff they do everything possible to make you stay perfect.
