All the staff are kind and friendly. If you have any questions, you can always consult with us. You can see Fort from Ruhr Top, and the location is great as it's close to the bus stop. We arrived by train at 4:30 am and the staff came to pick us up and were very helpful. Wifi is fast and the rooms are clean. You can also rent a kettle. As for the shower, it was the hottest shower I've had in India! This is a guest house with very good cost performance. I went on a safari tour with my family and it was a wonderful experience. We go to a different desert than the ones we usually go to on other tours, so it's really quiet and awesome! The sunsets and sunrises were both very beautiful, and at night I had the most beautiful starry sky I've ever seen. The rice we had for desert was also very delicious. Our safari guide, Mr. Durga, was also a very nice and interesting person, and we enjoyed our day in the desert! This is Murad haveli that we highly recommend

Perfect place to stay in Jaisalmer not far away from the fort but the best is the host who are extrememely nice and kind ! Hasim make my experience here really nice I couldn’t have more. Everything. The room was nice and clean, but the most amazing thing in this hotel was the staff. They made us feel very welcomed since the beginnins and let us stay in another room free of charge the last day after the check-out, because it was extremely hot and it was very difficult to walk around the city in the afternoon. Plus, they have a pick-up service and we highly appreciate it. Thank you so much!

The most delightful hosts who go far out of their way to ensuring that their guests' visits are enjoyable, comfortable, and homey. They are probably the most gracious and congenial hosts that I have ever experienced during my travels in India (and I was an older female traveling alone). So, if you're looking for a conveniently located place to stay, whether in the form of a hotel room or a bunk bed in a hostel room, where you can feel welcome, relaxed and able to ask about (or for) just about anything related to your stay in Jaisalmer, I highly recommend Murad Haveli.

If you have the opportunity to stay at Murad Havelli while you are in Jaisalmer, don’t hesitate for one second. It is the most amazing combination of place and people. The location is unbeatable, the decorations in the rooms are stunning, and the view from the rooftop of the fort is unmatched (and we visited several rooftops in our 3 day stay in the city)! And the comfort and beauty isn’t even the most spectacular part about the place - it’s the family team that runs it. Hasim and Rahim were beyond gracious hosts. We were greeted with Rahim warm masala chai or coffee every time we came “home” and visited the roof and his food was excellent - tasty and made to order. Hasim sat with us several times on the roof to chat about the city, the surrounding villages, and answer any questions we had. After our first night at Murad, we were checking out to spend a night at a desert camp, and Hasim and Rahim offered to us to keep our bags there all day while we walked around, and then also have us drop our bags off there when we came back from the safari! While waiting for our train, we not only had a place for our bags, but also to rest on their beautiful rooftop. When it was time to head to the train station, they insisted on getting our auto rickshaw for us - and wouldn’t accept payment. The team at Murad truly made us feel a part of their community and made our experience in Jaisalmer unforgettable. We would go back in a heartbeat and hope you get to experience their genuine and unparalleled hospitality.

I booked for one night but found property very good so I stayed 4 more nights. Location is very near to all the tourist places. Fort is walk away, gadisar lake is also near by. Terrace view is the most I loved. Hasim bro (owner) is also very friendly and very helpful. They also provide private rooms and open desert safari (must do). I have shooted their videos. It's a bit hard to find as Google maps shows a road but it's an allway. Otherwise location is center lower town .

Hotel good location just off main street so less noise. staff fun & helpful.. food & chi full flavour. Stayed a week, booked a very nice camel Safari was a nice trip good . Resonsonable price, got is in quick as it was busy holidays season .. was a good stay😀. Came back again after villages stay . Manager Hasim helped with seperating my booking for tours between stays

I have never experienced such kindness from a stranger. I was new to the city, and the host arranged for pickup, kept in touch with me, and made sure I had the best experience. I had the best food here. And OMG, the desert safari experience was beyond exceptional. The desert that Hasim Ji takes you is not commercialized. It's just you and your group there. You should definitely opt for the safari here.The beautiful sunset, camel ride, jeep safari, open star gazing under the sky. A night I'll always remember. I'm incredibly grateful for Hasim Ji and his team, Rahim Ji, Vikram singh Ji, and others. They took care of me like family only. Highly recommend the stay here and the desert safari. The view from the Rooftop is incredible.

Lovely place to stay. The hotel is full of character and the room was great. It has a wonderful rooftop terrace overlooking the fort where you can get food and drinks all day and in the evenings. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Toiletries were missing.Geyser worked once but didn't work for the next time I tried to use.Maybe they can improve that. The location is a bit tricky if you try following the Google map.

The decor of the room was very Rajasthani and beautiful.The rooms were clean.Ac n geyser were there.Staff goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable.Pick up and drop will be arranged. Great view of fort from rooftop.Indian food I had was good.

Rooms are nice and clean with working AC. Best part is chilling on the roof top with amazing view of the fort wall. Very good home made food. If you want beer they will bring it. Staff is very nice and will go extra mile for you. They also offer camel safari. Walking distance to the fort gate. Highly recomended.

Murad haveli is a clean and cozy place to stay longer in Jaisalmer. We booked 2 nights but only stayed 1. Since murad also organizes camel safaris, we decided at short notice to spend a night in the desert. The safari with Murad to lonely places is just as recommendable as the Haveli. We had a very good breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the view of the fort. it is not far to the sights. Everything within walking distance. Thank you for the very chilled accommodation.

Amazing Safari! Thoroughly recommend this for any backpacker, lovely mix of people and the hosts were great. Once in a lifetime experience that is worth the money. Durga had particularly good English which helped explain many parts of the trip. Thanks to the whole crew and I’m sure I’ll be back one day 🐫🇮🇳

The hosts were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to ensure our comfort.. few things that I want to highlight about them- 1. They are extremely kind. They booked us taxis from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and back. when we got stuck in Jaisalmer due to shifting of the Holi date, they let us check out at 1400 p.m. 2. They took us on an amazing natural desert safari on a 1.5 hour camel ride where no other tourist was present.. in an undisturbed part of the desert.. the most exquisite experience! the camel ride ended with tea and dinner in the desert camp under the stars! 3. They cooked us fresh food from scratch every time we ordered anything to eat! the food was always delicious and home cooked! 4. Their rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the fort and ambiance!

Murad Haveli is at the prime location in Jaiselmer- the fort is at walking distance. The desert safari experience was nice and thrilling.The rooftop restaurant has good food, an amazing view of fort and has nice seating area. The hotel staff was friendly , the bunk beds were clean and spacious. Overall great experience..would recommend.

For this price I expected clean bed. I mean not just visually clean, but clean linens between each GUEST! It shouldn't say balcony under room description unless it's a private balcony directly accessed from the room. Common balcony goes under hotel description. It says they do laundry, but they seemed very reluctant to do so, always 'tomorrow' and in the morning it was nobody to take it. It never happened. Also I wish it was a few proper tables and chairs on the terrace. Not everybody can sit curled up with their feet.

My room was absolutely incredible beautiful, just like the photos on Booking.com. Very comfortable mattresses, not the usual rock hard things. The staff is very friendly and also offered free pickup from the bus station. After my stay they dropped me off as well. Excellent WiFi everywhere. Location is superb, very close to everything. Superb view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant. The rooftop also had lots of power outlets. The room and the attached bathroom was spotless clean, EXCEPT for one very essential thing.
