It was awesome room near "mg marg market" around 400 m & staff is very good for any help. Specially receptionist (pema) is helping for anything.😍so I'm happy with stay muscatel yavachi

There is a lot of time wasted ordering via whatsapp menu option cause in between if you need something you need to whatsapp them and by the time the thing comes your would be ended with your food. I found the process of ordering very complicated and time consuming so may be they could do something about it.

The Location is pretty good walking distance to MG Margh + the taxi stand.

No elevator even to reach 4th floor we need to use the staircases. No male stuffs available to carry luggages. Need to care about Washroom hygiene and also check the fittings like shower, water taps etc And the most important thing there should be a kitchen set up required to have food, tea, snacks etc.

All the hotel's staffs are very polite, attentive, well groomed and friendly especially Pema & Pradeep who ensure all the amenities. The roof lounge is just awesome. Overall good experience and recommend.

Absence of a default heater

I recently stayed at the Muscatel Yavachi in Gangtok and overall had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend the hotel, earning it a solid 9/10 rating. The staff, particularly Ms. Pema Sherpa at the reception, contributed significantly to the positive atmosphere with their excellent service. The only drawback was the absence of a default heater in the rooms, requiring guests to rent one separately. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall quality of the stay and the helpfulness of the staff make it a noteworthy choice for accommodation in Gangtok.

We booked 2 deluxe rooms and one of the room was too small compared to the other. I understand not all rooms can be equally sized but the difference was too much to ignore, especially when we paid the same amount for both the rooms.

We booked a deluxe room in Muscatel Yavachi for 2 nights in December 2022. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms were well clean and well maintained. The hotel is just 500m from the popular MG Marg and you can take a 5 min walk to reach there. The wi-fi reception was also good.

This is located a bit below the valley so you need to take a tough uphill climb to reach the main road, specially if you have a vehicle.

The rooms were very neat, clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. They upgraded our room also.They have a restaurant cum bar on their rooftop, views are awesome from there. Price is also reasonable.

Location was little bit downward from MG Road, for senior citizen it would be quit tough in/out from hotel multiple times a day.

You'll get stunning view from your hotel room if you're so lucky like us (we saw Kangchenjunga from our room).

The details in the Booking.com was not clear. The picture had two single beds, but it was mentioned as a double bed in the description.

The best thing about the place is are the staff. They helped us really well. When we left for Lachen/Lachung we left one of our bag in their custody as we could not carry all of them. They were so helpful and kind to keep it.

Gangtok can be cold in winter and there is no central heating in the city. It can be a little cold in the hotel, but that would be the case for all hotels..

The value for money is absolutely great. Rooms are nice and spacious. Breakfast is tasty and the location is a 5-minute walk from the heart of Gangtok. But the best thing about the hotel is none of these above, it is the staff. They are so kind, so helpful and so eager to serve.
