Cleanliness could be improved, and the hotel could benefit from some renovations in the bathrooms, but overall, it was at a decent level.

We stayed for four nights in the hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and air conditioned, with a stunning view across the lake up to the city palace. It is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Udaipur old town. We were brilliantly looked after by Shankar and Mat. The rooftop restaurant is affordable and serves both tasty veg and non-veg options which were fine for our soft western stomachs!!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for top value for money in Udaipur.

Bathroom needs to be remodeled.

The manager and staff are very nice. Food at the restaurant ia very good too. The bathrooms are clean but very very old. One of the two rooms we booked had a smell. But the staff are very friendly.

The showers were just a dribble so almost impossible to use. But this is the only downside!

The rooftop terrace was great. It’s in a good location, just 10 minutes walk from the attractions, but away from the hustle and bustle so it’s quiet. Food also tasty!

The shower and the toilet flush were a bit weak.

Great view of the lake. Great communication before and after we arrived from the owner. Shankar, the main staff was exceptional - very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable staying there. Also, the food was good!

It's the best hotel to stay in when you're in udaipur! The place and the staff both are amazing. They're really professional and well spoken. The view from the rooms is lovely. The location is also quite accessible from most of the sight seeing places. The rooftop restaurant has a different vibe altogether especially in the evenings. Do stay there if you get a chance to, you'll not regret 😊

The lake facing this property is a narrower patch compared to lake pichhola.

The room provides lovely lake view but this is a smaller lake (not lake pichhola). The location is nearby all city attractions. The room is reasonably sized with all facilities and cleanliness maintained well. The staff is polite and warm. I want to highlight two things in particular - the food was amazing esp must try their Daal, Baati , Churma at least once and the owner of the property - Karan, was super friendly and helpful. He sent us a ready list of all city attractions and also helped us with arranging taxi for site seeking etc. Overall, very satisfying stay. Plus they have wonderful rooftop seating at two levels which provides wonderful view of the city.

Bathroom was dated and drains smelled badly. Room could’ve been slightly cleaner. Prices were a little bit higher than other places we stayed in that were in similar category. Could just be Udaipur though.

Amazing rooftop,super nice day time restaurant and lovely staff. Tasty food, accommodating for vegans. Room was small but had a fantastic lake side view. Owner was friendly and helped organise a middle of the night taxi. Great location away from the hustle and bustle.

The picturesque location allowed for easy exploration of the city's historic sites. The staff was incredibly hospitable, ensuring a delightful experience with their warm welcome and attentive service. The well-maintained rooms (same as in the pictures) offered a perfect blend of comfort and traditional Rajasthani decor and a wonderful view. Additionally, the rooftop terrace provided breathtaking views, making it an ideal spot to unwind.

I wouldn’t recommend staying in the ground floor. The rooms are near the reception and front door so it’s noisy. We moved rooms to the floor above and it was much nicer and very quiet.

The view is incredible and there are two different floors to eat food and have a drink. The staff are incredibly helpful; we needed assistance booking tickets for the next leg of our journey and they completely saved us. Very sweet and kind and helpful people. The location is perfect it is quiet but still very close and scenic walk to all the main places you will want to go.

We were very happy with our stay here. It turned out to be an excellent small hotel with truly outstanding customer service. We were there nearly a week and ate at their restaurant often as it had such a good variety and standard of food - and beautiful views. The location was very good - its in a peaceful neighborhood but easy and pleasant walking distance to the busy areas. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing view over the lake. Overall it offers great value for money and we highly recommend.

A totally wonderful experience staying here for 3 nights. From my very first enquiry, Karan was communicative and bent over backwards to make sure I (and other guests) wanted for nothing. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, the lake facing room was totally delightful and the restaurant in a beautiful location, high up overlooking the lake. Food was excellent. I really can't think of a single negative. It's not located in the thick of it, but that makes it really peaceful, and you're only a £1.50 Tuk Tuk away from City Palace and all the action! I will return with my husband!

The water in the bathroom was dirty. Couldn’t complete my bath properly. Bathroom flush was not working properly. Except these issues (which I was told are temporary), I would give this property 10/10.
