Upkeep of the property needs improvement. If this is taken care of, it will truly be a marvellous accommodation.

Excellent location. Had a clear view of snow clad mountains right from our rooms.. Lovely landscaping tasteful decoration of the property was an added charm. Very friendly owner of the property, Mrs. Rawat, whose conversations made our stay delightful. Cannot fail to mention about Jeet Singh who was always ready to assist and serve us with his quiet but efficient way. Overall, a memorable stay.

Loved the location and the property itself. However, the standout for us was the hospitality and warmth of the people here. Mrs. Rawat is a lovely host and extremely warm person, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. A very special shout out to Mr. Jeet and Mr. Vikas for their lovely service as well. In house facilities need to be improved, ceiling fan was making lot of noise led to uncomfortable sleep nights, bathroom need attention, in room tea /coffee making facility was absence, spider and moth found crawling/flying.

The setting was superb. The hosts were very gracious. The retired Colonel Rawat inspite of being not at the best of his health was so kind to call me over to his room in the property and spent time talking to me. Both he and his wife are absolute delight to talk to. Last but not the least the food served to us was so tasty. The staff was very patient and supportive of all our requests :)

Property location and amenities are good. The Garhwal Himalayas are clearly visible from the upper storey rooms.The room bearers were friendly, on-their-toes and all with a big smile on their faces. But the memorable part of the stay was the personal touch of the landlady Mrs Neelam Rawat. Col Rawat was unfortunately not well. Wish him a speedy recovery. Overall very much recommended. We will definitely look forward to another visit to this place in future.

The lesser known hill station Lansdowne is more than meets the eye.. for travel lovers, specially long drive lovers...the ride in this weather...rainy and winter combo was picture perfect! Our stay in Jaiharikhal was beautiful in it's own way..quaint and so scenic one cannot get bored! The ambiance as evident from the photographs of this home stay do justice to the place and the highlight was the exceptional hospitality extended by our hosts, who were like family... so kind, caring, chatty, lively and utterly humble.. rooms are cosy and staff is ever ready to help with anything.. home food at it's best.. this place is a must visit for those looking for comfort, beautiful landscape and leisure time spent enjoying the natural beauty of the mountainside!

The property was really amazing. It was very soothing, it had a great view and had loads of space to sit outside and enjoy a cup of tea, or breakfast while looking at the sunset and the mountains. The staff was very polite, readily available and kind. The food was so homely and fresh. Everything was perfect for a leisure time with your friends, family or even for yourself. The location was also not far away from the main market, but was isolated enough for some quite and peace, away from all the traffic. It was a truly wonderful experience for us.

An electric kettle in the room is must. Since tea served is at 7.00 am, for an early riser like me there is need for warm water to drink and a cuppa tea to relish.
