Could do with serving something other than beer Although in fairness they did go and source a bottle of wine for us.

Brilliant location right on the Ghats Lovely food Pick up and drop off from airport via the hotel excellent. Would never have found hotel without them. All hotels along the Ghats are rustic however its worth it for the location If you want luxury stay on the outskirts

The hotel is located close to the ghat but away from the main road, thus it is easily misplaced.

Terrace restaurant can be made much more better i.e. open air otherwise currently was also ok

Serebe location as if u need to explore banaras explore through its by lanes and the hotel is located in the bylanes of banaras, not to miss out the Chausatti ghat which is hardly 30 mtrs away giving u the comfort of dropping by at your ease on the mesmerizing ghats

We were unable to book the room we wished therefore found ourselves in a room without a window that opened so the room became smelly.

Sanjay and staff were most helpful. The fact that it is very close to Dashashvmedh Ghat is a huge plus. Excellent view of the Ganga from the terrace.

Only the location could be a constraint for some as you have to walk for around 500-600 mtr to reach the hotel. But the beautiful view and hotel's vibe makes it worth it.

The hotel has a beautiful view of Chausatthi ghat. Staff is very polite and helpful. Food was good.

Nothing, we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The Hotel is in a perfect location to go and see the ghats and the old town and easily to find using Google maps. We also liked the food and tours offered like the rivercruise in the evening. Do yourself a favour and ask for the walking tour with Guide Deepak, who will introduce you to the city and its Customs.

Nothing much, was a little expensive but that could be alignment with other Gangies view accommodation.

Kind of old school facilities.

Location and great terrace and roof deck. The location is a bit of trade off. It’s in a maze of alleys in the old city - one of oldest in the world. Hotel staff will get you there and back. But once you’re there you’re right on the Ganges.

The road leading to the property is very narrow and very dirty .staff help to carry luggage in out of the hotel and its a great service

Rooms are excellent and staff are very helpful and supportive Hotel rooms are spacious and well maintained Its great value for money and its right on the ghats Easy to access Dashashwamedh ghat Toilets are clean and spacious although the bath towels are not well washed( they smell and are old and worn out) Overall the hotel itself is very good

the view of the Ganga is fabulous! You couldn’t be closer to mother Ganga! The hotel is in the middle of the town, 1 minute walk to the Sita Ghat, 5 minutes to Dashashwamedh Ghat. To the Mona Lisa cafe or Bown bread bakery 2 minutes by walk. The Hotel has the perfect place + view. The personal is so kind and always helpful !!!

The modern rooms lacked the finished they deserved, which led us to feel that this hotel was over priced for the standard of the room provided.

The location was fantastic, and the staff were very helpful, especially arranging to meet you when you arrive. Breakfast was great and you could make tea and coffee in your room. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water.

The laundry service was pretty poor, it took them 48 hours, but our clothes came back to us wet. Our last hour in Varanasi was spent using the hair dryer on clothes. Some of the fittings could go with some TLC, the hotel could be a topper with just a little more attention. The hotel organised tours but were outrageously expensive compared to local prices.

The location was just incredible. I also loved the original building that the hotel was in.

The room looked a bit different in the pictures online (nicer) but it was OK, the towels/sheets were clean-ish but very old and stained

The service is amazing, the staff helped me with everything, they sent a driver to pick me up at the airport and drop me off at the hotel, they helped me get a tour guide, they got me a boat ride, always helpful. Also the location is good, since you're on a walking distance to the main sights in Varanasi.

The covered balcony is shared and the view of the Ganges was nothing special. Wifi did not work in the room.

The hotel is located near the Ganges so very convenient to access the ghats. The room was a bit small and dark with no windows. I booked a couple of tours through the hotel - a sunrise boat tour (the driver spoke limited English so not much information) and a short walking tour which was really nice as we stopped at several places to sample "street" food. Since the hotel is near the Ganges, there is no vehicle access. A porter will transport your luggage down narrow alleys.
