Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndiaFirst of all this is not a hotel. It is a cheap lodge. While booking this place from booking.com I saw the room images which looked decent. But please be aware that the rooms are nowhere similar to what is shown. The rooms & bathroom has zero maintenance. Forget the rooms, even the surroundings are more like a 3rd class cheap lodge where you get rooms for 500Rs. This was about the place. Now coming to their service. The reception guy was super rude. When we complained him that the place is dirty , he said "If you don't want to stay please leave". He then came to our room with 2 bottles of water which was filled with normal water and he said this is what is served as per the policy. After arguing a lot, he finally gave a packed mineral water. At night around 3 am the AC stopped working and all the lights were dim. We called the reception guy again and he was like electrician wont come at this time so we need to wait for another 4 hours to get all these fixed. We then contacted booking.com customer care which was also as pathetic as the reception guy. But again after arguing for 30 mins, when I said that I will be putting poor reviews, the reception guy called the electrician. Now during our breakfast time we were told that the breakfast is not included in our booking, although I showed it in the booking.com app that clearly says breakfast is booked for all 4 rooms. We then again called the customer care and customer care said that the call landed to OYO customer care and please call booking.com customer care. Remember this is the same customer care number which responded to our earlier issue with the electricity but now denied interfering with breakfast issue. So we finally gave up and had our breakfast outside. Overall I would say that please refrain from this hotel if you don't want to spoil your trip. We had the worst experience of our life.
