We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndiaThe location wad not exactly on Google maps. The property name is not mentioned by any display board. It was very scary experience to find out the property location. This was showing near to kabristan. As name mentioned in booking.com, actual there was a big confusion in property name. The staff was not aware about the booking. No towel & soap provided. Rooms & bathroom are very dirty, No other facilities like drinking water was available. Please think before, if you want to book for family.

IndiaThe staff's behaviour was too rude, no soap, no towel, no drinking water bottle with this room. When I asked for water they gave me a jug, and told me to drink with it. Even they denied giving a glass for drinking water. I don't know why the owner has such rude staff for this Hotel. The hotel location is too far and it seems horrible. Please never stay in this hotel.

IndiaI recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Hotel Starwood in Jammu, and I must say it was one of the worst hotels I have ever encountered. I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The room was dirty and had an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout my stay. But the worst part was the condition of the toilet. It was evident that the hotel staff had not bothered to clean it after the previous guest, as there was excrement on the toilet seat. This was absolutely unacceptable and a clear indication of the hotel’s lack of hygiene standards. To add to the disappointment, there was no hot water available during my entire stay. Taking a shower in cold water was extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable. Even basic amenities like an AC or cooler were missing, making the room unbearably hot and uncomfortable. I was truly shocked that after paying 1000 INR, I received such a substandard experience. I honestly believe that a Dharmshala (a basic guesthouse) would have provided better accommodations and facilities. I urge booking.com to seriously consider removing Hotel Starwood from their platform. Guests deserve better options that meet minimum standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and basic amenities. I hope that my feedback helps other travelers make informed decisions and avoid the disappointment I faced during my stay. Overall, my experience at Hotel Starwood was extremely unsatisfactory, and I strongly advise against booking a stay there.
