This is an excellent hotel and the service was so good. The bar was a nice old world environment and playing IPL which was great! The vegetable jalfrezi was the freshest and tastiest thing I’ve had in a long time , far better than an English version. Thank you for a great stay and for the attention to detail !

Property is very much in the center of the police bazar so we could take good stroll around in the evening. The staff, starting from valet, receptionist, servers who picked our bags, served us food were really kind, sweet and welcoming. The food was delicious too, both breakfast and dinner. We are very happy with the stay!

What I liked the most about my stay is the staff. The level of service I received has been the best so far in my time in India. They are very attentive and are extremely hospitable. The food was great, the room was perfect! It’s clean, beds are comfortable, there’s hot water for the shower, the place is in a great location. I strongly recommend this hotel and I would definitely visit again. If you are traveling from outside of India, be aware that booking.com does not pay the properties.. Credit or debit cards may not work either so just be prepared to pay cash just in case. Also, be aware that there are taxes added to the amount it shows on this site, which is understandable but just good to know when you arrive. There are plenty of ATMs around the area and lots to do. I wanted to explore the beauty of Meghalaya and the hotel staff recommended an amazing driver who I strongly recommended as well. His name is Kitbok, make sure to ask for him as he is knowledgeable about the area!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel seems to have 2 wings. I stayed in the newly renovated wing in a huge spacious room. Ravi at the reception was very helpful with things like booking a taxi, arranging breakfast in the room. August is there to help you with luggage. Very cheerful guys and always find him with a smile. Overall my stay was good as the location is near the ward lake and we loved visiting that lake. All restaurants are nearby to have anything. I really loved the mattress as it was way much better than 5 star hotels. One suggestion for the hotel owner to train staff in the kitchen and also the servers. They bring one thing then go missing while bringing another thing. The hotel breakfast was okay in taste. Although the staff tried their best to bring so much for breakfast but food taste can be improved. Thank you so much.

The location of the property is in heart of Shillong city , the stuff we’re so friendly and considerable . The hotel is a value for money too. We also were allocated for complementary breakfast there .

Situated at a great location and amazing hospitality team. Everyone was very welcoming and made sure all needs were catered. The stay overlapped with my dad's birthday, and the sweetest gesture by the team was to surprised him with a cake upon his arrival. Special thanks to August the bellman, Kormo the waiter, and Rupdhar at the reception for their amazing service. There was a small hiccup with a double payment for the stay. However, the team resolved it quickly after a couple of conversations with Booking.com and the senior manager of the hotel.
