It’s location is perfect on the banks of river Ganga. The mansion has a very unique charm to it. Even though it’s a hotel, it had a very homely vibe and the rooms were beautiful. The food was authentic and yummy. We loved our stay.

This property is absolutely amazing. A haven of peace and tranquility on the banks of the Holy River Ganga. The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Hemant and Nikita at the reception desk, Arvind the guide who took us Har ki Padi, the front security and the restaurant staff. The food and endless cups of chai the staff happy to provide. There was a lovely afternoon tea with beautiful bhajans. The aarti by their private ghat was beautiful and felt so special. All the way to the hotel car and driver organized to take us to the airport. I can’t fault anything about this hotel.

There is nothing in this hotel for you not to like.

The extent to which the hotel and its staff go to, to make sure you are comfortable makes you the experience special. Everyone is always greeting you with a smile, and it makes a world of difference. The Indian food is good and homely. The Gangaji aarti is well arranged. Their guided tours are made easy and wonderful. The late check out is made easy. For those of you who cannot eat lunch after a heavy breakfast there’s a tea and sandwich cart arranged in the early evenings before the Aarti. The GM, Kishanji from the F&B, Gautam bhai the in-house guide all such wonderful people along with the other staff. The Rooms are grand, extremely clean and well arranged. There is live music and bhajans arranged in the evenings which reverberate gently through the lobby and atrium. Check in check out was a breeze.

The pool water could have been heated, but we did spend a lot of time outdoors so not sure if we’d have used the pool even if it was heated.

I can not fault this hotel for a single thing! Beyond 5* service from every single member of staff, with attention to detail and customer service. We were treated like royalty from the moment we set foot in the hotel, until we checked out. We had several hours before our night train, Jitender and his team made a room available for us to rest and freshen up and we could y be more greatful. They also held a little celebration for my mums birthday, with a home made cake. The nicest little gesture! Given the chaos that ensues outside of the hotel, I was greatful for the safe and quiet haven Pilibhit house offers. Arvind and his team in the dining area were exceptional at both breakfast and dinner. Always waiting on us, and suggesting dinner ideas when we felt like eating light. The breakfast was brilliant. A real variety in the buffet and additional extras from the kitchen (the pancakes and waffle were a hit!). Lovely entertainment in the evening too. The live singer, and musician during the day was the cherry on top. Soothing tunes while you dine added to the ambience and experience. Gutted to be leaving, but also, I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else when I come back. Thanks to all of the staff at Pilibhit house for making our stay so memorable. Their private ghat was shut due to cleaning , i wish I knew the same before my arrival . I was hoping for one more restaurant at the property .

The hotel rooms and food were excellent . The staff was polite and courteous . The welcome ritual was really good. Overall we had a good time .

Excellent facilities, great position on the banks of the Ganges with it’s own private ghat, Infiniti pool by the side of the river, private aarti or walks to the shared aarti on the Ganges ghat, afternoon tea, music, great food, lovely decor and attentive staff. Really sublime. A wonderful treat for my husband’s 80th birthday.

The only downside i would say is the spread at the breakfast but what they served was amazing.

The hotel is located on the ghats and you can see the river flowing from your rooms. It is such a mesmerising view to see. At evening the Ganga Arti was breathtaking. Everything about the hotel is only great from how they make you check in till check out.
