What a beautiful place in the middle of the mountains. The cottage has a very traditional feel but still very posh. The balcony overlooks the valley and the views are stunning. The staff is very cordial, made us a lovely BBQ dinner. The place is very quite, it has a games/meditation room as well. All in all a perfect family getaway, highly recommended.

The price is bit high. Reason behind this comment is the location is at the top where there are no facilities or any tourist spot available nearby. Even the caretakers had to go far to bring food products.

Unique location with homely food. Soothing artefacts were placed around different corners of the villa to provide aesthetic vibes. Instagrammable spot 😅

We had an Amazing time at Mountain Villa!! It was a perfect weekend, with the most divine views and walks around the stay. One could also spend the entire time at the property and enjoy the valley view with breathtaking sunrise and sunsets. There was a personal touch in the hospitality given. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves nature. This is going to be my go-to getaway place!!

Open space within the boundaries is limited, for it being situated on a hill slope.

The place is very calm and quite. The manager, Akhil, is very efficient and active. He plays nice guitar also. Food is good. Rooms are neat and clean.

The location of the villa is quite serene and the view from the balcony is picturesque. The villa is quite spacious and home decor is simply class. A special mention to Care taker Mr. Akhil who made our trip quite comfortable throughout the duration of stay. The cook also prepares some really delicious local cuisines which you can relish. A must recommended Home stay with friends/family for a pleasant gateway if that is what you're looking for. Cheers.

These are not necessarily things we didnt like, just things to watch out for so that you are not caught unawares: The place is lower lying than Lansdowne, so it can get hot and humid if it doesn't rain.. It's also nearly 16km from Lansdowne, so be prepared for a 40min trip each way..

Quaint quiet aesthetically crafted villa on the main road from Lansdowne to Tarkeshwar, with a great view of the valley (hough no real sunset/sunrise views) The caretaker Akhil is a very pleasant soft spoken man, doubling up as an entertainer (sings & plays the guitar) while taking care of your home-cooked food and accommodation requirements.

Just need a light near the bed so that we can switch it off from the bed and we don't have to get up to switch it off especially when you are tired and too sleepy this is the most needed thing.

The house is located in a very calm and peaceful hilltop. The food was very homely and absolutely to our taste. We would like to make a special mention for the Housekeeper Akhil who was always on his feet to make our stay comfortable. Sarojini, served us the best possible home made food as and when we wanted to eat something and last but not the least Yashpal was there to help us at all point. Akhil a budding singer entertained us with his songs every day playing the guitar.

The serene ambience and view of mountains from the villa is amazing! Rooms are large in size and can easily accommodate a family. Washrooms are also hygienic. Owners & Staff are friendly and supportive. Would love to come back again!
