How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Such a spacious rooms. Perfect for family stay. Location is also good. If you want to avoid crowded place to stay, away from old Kolkata, this place is perfect to stay.

Honestly, nothing stood out really. Maybe the stains on the bed sheets? But we brought our own anyway, because we like it that way, so it wasn't an issue
The apartment was so comfortable and clean. We managed to get a very good rest and we loved the high ceilings! The personnel was very kind and understanding when we realised that we made a small error in the booking timings. They were very accommodating

What we did not like has nothing to do with the property. We did not like that the taxi driver did not understand the location of the apartment despite speaking with one of the employees at the apartment After the first day, we were clear on how to locate the apartment
We took three apartments. Each came with two bedrooms. Interiors and the linen were top class. International standard. Everything was functional and operational. Smooth.

There were 5 of us in Kolkata. It felt like staying in a house with 3 rooms, was super convenient, compared to taking 3 rooms in a hotel. Staff is so polite, and the owner is very accommodating of check in and check out times too if possible for them.

Enjoyed my stay in this apartment. Rooms and tolilet was clean. Basic kitchen appliances are provided. Overall ideal stay for 4 to 5 people. Surrounding was also good. Its located in cental kolkata so train station, airport and most of the visiting places are nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall i enjoyed my stay in radharani Apartment.

The rooms are prone to mosquitoes especially the lower floors. The mosquito repellant provided was all empty and hence this became a nuisance for all of us staying there, in all the rooms. This could be improved.
The stay was perfect for group of friends travelling together. The location is not super easy to find but we could reach the location with some help from the locals. Check in and check out processes were super smooth and no hassles from the host.

Everything was clean but need to clean their floor properly even after moping I found it dusty. But they look after it after I complained. Toilet floor was a bit slippery and should provide slippers for the toilet. The apartment is a bit inside of a narrow lane so car access is a bit painful so we used to leave the car on the main road. They have only cash or Google pay. If they add card payment it will be easier.
Very specious full furnished apartment. I booked it for my toddler so that he can get a homely atmosphere. And he really enjoyed it. Toilet was so clean which is very important to me. The owner is a very cooperative person and full family is so humble. Like the location it is very easy to find any transport. 15 minutes to reach New market - victoria memorial - New town - Quest Mall. 5 minutes lo away from Phoolbagan metro station. Food home delivery available just by a call. Very secure.

If you're a travelling female, the people in the neighbourhood, including the property owner, may all be unfriendly, even inexplicably hostile towards you. The kitchen is exceedingly dirty. The idea of cooking in it turned my stomach. There's no parking available unlike what's being advertised and this has been a constant source of stress for me during my stay.
The accommodation staff were mostly helpful. The apartment looked as advertised and was spacious.
