Beautiful old mansion, with accessible location. Rooftop pool and 2 garden areas are marvellous! Food and service very nice as well. Would stay again.

The charging/plug points could be improved. The only one that was accessible was behind the bed headboard. I had to remove the TV connection to charge my phone.

Overall, we had a pleasant and peaceful stay. The staff were very supportive, and room services were pretty quick. When I reported a small leakage issue in the bathroom was attended soon and even replaced with a new item.

Smell from the bathroom drains can be a little uncomfortable but it’s a design flaw we’ve seen in other hotels as well. Breakfast service is not as smooth as it can be as we have to wait for empty dishes to be refilled. Post booking and pre-check in communications can be much better.

Room size exceeded expectations. Staff were quick to respond to requests for housekeeping. The bathroom was good sized and newly renovated. The balcony attached to the room and the window seat inside the room were a pleasure to use. Check-in and check-out was smooth.

Ensure you bolt down your request for an additional bed when booking. It can & did cause some issues as to what was advertised paid for & what the management expected you to pay for again. Disappointing start to what was otherwise a good stay.

Loved the quiet location. Off the streets. The building looked & was amazing. Very charming as we're the staff. Room was very clean, spacious and enjoyed good views.

Beautiful palace building, lovely gardens, in a quiet back street. Stayed for 5 nights. All staff were friendly and helpful, and made us very welcome. Restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating was excellent, again as were the waiters and staff.

The hot water or lack of it. We only had hot showers once in 3 days, it depended on where your room was located it seems, some rooms had it the whole time. The pool isn't heated, fine in summer not in Winter.

Friendly helpful staff, very nice food and a quiet location. We were there for a wedding being held there so it was a spectacular event and the staff did a fantastic job. The rooms were very comfortable.

It wasn't as clean as expected, the bathroom shower water didn't work. The bathroom doors were unclean and not wiped. So were some of the walls of the room. The TV remote was missing battery cover and the bedside lamp had a broken connection and the bedside power outlet didn't work.

It's at an excellent location convenient to everything. The staff was great and accommodating.

Reception staff should be more welcoming and not restricted to just focusing on formalities. Although other staff members were helpful and welcoming.

All rooms should have a fridge. Let guests pay their bill on check-out. Being chased for the bill to be paid after every drink order or before we had even eaten our dinner is a liitle off putting.

Food price is higher. The full amount of stay has to be paid at the front, that was kind of weird. I paid half of the amount online but they were not ready to allot the room before full payment was made. I never had that experience with any other hotel stay.

The breakfast was decent, not exceptional.

We wanted a comfortable stay, but not as expensive as the Tajs and Marriots. This fit perfectly. Good staff, good rooms. There is a good open area for breakfast. The breakfast was decent. All the main tourist spots are accessible from the hotel.

There were no matrasses on the beds next to the pool even though they were shown on the pictures. The room is a bit noisy, and the warm water in the shower was quite spotty.

The water pump on the roof makes a humming sound every few seconds which echos down the stairwell and through the rooms. I had to be asked to change rooms from the second floor which was accommodated although begrudgingly it seemed…the staff immediately knew what the noise was and said it turns off at 10pm. it could still be heard in my room on the ground floor but was bearable. However, on my second night it sounded like a washing machine was being used, and I didn’t sleep well. I stayed for two nights…my room wasn’t cleaned nor toilet roll/water replenished.

The hotel is pretty, with a lovely roof top pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a fridge. the central courtyard is also a pretty place. the breakfast was adequate. location is good..a short rickshaw ride to the Pink City. There is a very good restaurant next door…Townsend.
