I had a perfect stay in this hotel. Everything was great, rooms are clean, the host is very welcoming and warm, breakfast is tasty, price is great, Mahabodhi temple is 7 minutes away. Love and attention is felt in everything. The host also helped me to get a tuctuc to airport at a good price. Hotel business is often called hospitality - and that’s exactly what I felt all my stay: that I am welcome and the host intends to take good care of me.

It was a little bit difficult to find but if you look up there is a large sign saying Rajhat Maranao on the roof and another large vertical sign with the name on the side of the building. These signs are visible from a distance.

Walking distance into town. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. The host was very friendly and offered a variety of snacks. The place was very clean.

The Host was so humble and helpful in every single detail. From picking up from the railway station in the wee hours prepared dinner and served at that time. From morning coffee and stupendous breakfast.Arranging for local sight seeing and local transportation. What more you can expect? AMAZING

Modest rooms, quite small. Room was reasonably clean, although unfortunately looking over land with lots of rubbish, but I guess that can’t be helped.

Proximity to the Mahabodhi temple (7min walk away!), staff attitude was great. We got tea straight away when we arrived, and we could have late check out with no extra cost. Manager booked us rikshaw there and back from Gaya. Very accommodating and helpful.

Their house is wonderful,clean and relaxing but when you come out from their private road to the public street, the people have dirtied the streets so badly that it is unbelievable, this seems to be a major problem in India.

Our host is a wonderful person, he went out of his way to arrange everything for us. His wife was very kind and prepared wonderful international food every day. They made us feel very much at home.

The area in which the house is located is not clean, given that it is next to the market, but we cannot fault the property for the general state of the town.

The host was extremely helpful in sending us the arrival information, woke up at 2 AM, when our train arrived, and sent a reliable driver to meet us at the train station. We were quickly on our way to some much needed sleep. The property is literally 5 minutes' walk from Mahabodhi Temple, as well as the other places of interest in Bodhgaya. The host also helped with our departure to the airport, and sent us off with a very nice breakfast. Cannot recommend enough. Useful tip: 2 minutes' walk from the property is an extremely nice cafe, Carrot Cake Cafe, which serves amazing espresso coffees, cakes, and cafe food - in case you have been on the road for a long time, and got a bit tired from spicy cuisine.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The food is delicious, healthy, and beautiful as well. But those were the minor parts, as the owner of the hotel was so friendly and helpful, and exceptionally kind. I am traveling with my grandfather, and the owner's kindness and accommodation to total strangers far exceeded what is necessary for business or hoteling. He made our complicated trip simple and homely and shared with us in true love and faith. My grandfather and I will remember this stay and kindness for years to come. Thank you.

Osama and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. They took good care of us, providing a lovely dinner for us when we arrived, late, as our train was delayed, and when we left and our train was again delayed, they gave us a room to rest in and dinner before we left for the station. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was good. The location was very convenient for the Mahabodhi temple and the other main places of interest.

There was very little light entering my room, although I didn't mind that much since I was out all day anyway.

Truly hospitality and friendly staff. I arrived a little before midnight after quite a journey and they still offered me nice food. The premises itself was very clean and so was my room. Not too big, but all amenities are working and in good order and the bed was comfortable. The location is about a 5 minute walk from the main draw to Bodhgaya: the Mahabodhi Temple! All in all, also considering its very affordable price class, I was really satisfied with my experience at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

The only issue is, that it is located on a dimly lit dirt road, behind the vegetable market. As such, I would not recommend the area for a woman travelling alone.

Everything was perfect. The breakfast is well worth the money, it cost at least double the price to eat the same food outside. The room was very large with a well-functioning AC. The bathroom is very well ventilated. The interior of the hotel is spotless and well maintained. The host is super helpful and the hotel mascot is super friendly.
