I absolutely loved my stay at Raybo. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. As an added bonus they have a dog who is super cute. Everyone that I met there was lovely and created a great vibe in the communal spaces. It's located only a short walk away from the main square. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the hostel itself was easy to find thanks to the directions they provide. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Oh, I don't take hot showers but I think that may not always be available based on what my roommates had said. I think you need to plan what time you'll take a shower if you want to ensure you'll have access to hot water.

It is a little far away from the center (15 minutes on foot from main market), but at least for me this wasn't a big issue as Leh is quite walkable (despite street dogs).

It is a great place with nice common areas to meet travelers from all over the world to share stories and advice about activities in Leh. The staff are also very friendly.

Love the team and generally all the environment. Always with good vibes. Amazing view on the rooftop and the female dormitory was pretty confortable. Sometimes the hot water wasn't that hot but was manageable.

Hostel is very clean, nice breakfast included, luggage storage available during Ladakh side trips. The BEST staff and manager you can ask for - super funny and friendly guys always happy to help and meet your requests. I met other travelers at this hostel that I traveled with on some Ladakh adventures. I recommend this place to anyone staying in Leh!

I wish like some other hostels, if there were curtains on the bunk beds.

The cleanliness and the staff was amazing. Vedant (Buzz), who also happens to be the property manager is a kind, funny and a very friendly guy. I’ve met people from almost all over the globe there. I was only supposed to stay for a day and I ended up being there for almost 10 days which is pretty much the entire trip. They have a beautiful terrace, cinema room and common chilling spots on every floor.

Staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. Really made an effort to get to know their customers and make conversation. Always around to ask questions. The free breakfast is filling and great for the price. Rooms are regularly cleaned, as are bathrooms. Great hostel to meet people and chill out upstairs on the terrace to watch the sunset or hang out in the kitchen or lobby and have a good chinwag. When the restaurants and shops closed down for a day, the hostel went out of their way to make sure they found food for all of their customers- something I know other hostels and guest houses didn't do. Can't recommend this place enough- I booked two nights but ended up staying here about 10 in total.

The one downside about being 10 mins walk from town (through some back alleys) is that it makes it hard as a solo female traveller to go out for dinner at night by myself. Also, one of the hostel staff had a habit of coming into our female dorm room without knocking, for example to check someone in or clean the room. He felt like a safe person and it didn’t really bother me, but it might bother someone else. The ensuite in my room could do with some TLC (there was some black mould on the ceiling) but overall felt pretty clean.

The hostel had a calm, clean and friendly vibe. It was nice that it’s a little bit away (10 min walk) from the main market as it was more quiet. I loved having a morning coffee on the balcony with views out to the mountain. I made some friends here and we ended up doing a 5 day trek together. The staff are friendly and a bit cheeky.
