The pool could do with some maintenance. There were bits of plastic grid missing on the sides in places, which you can catch and hurt your foot on. As well as general looking after and cleaning.

We were made to feel very welcome and cared for by the stuff. When airport taxi dropped us off at the resort next door by mistake, the guys drove in to pick us up with all the luggage. On the days when it was getting too hot, the chef was making lemon coolers for everybody. And generally, nothing seemed too much of an ask. Lovely, healthy breakfast too. It was great to have a pool to swim in, because the sea was very lively, so not very swimable.

No food available outside breakfast. The closest restaurants are a 15 minute walk via the beachfront and Varkala is about 20 minutes. Staff unable to help book trains, only taxis

Cleaning of room should be done everyday without customers asking them to clean.

The property is well located near to the beach. Swimming pool adds an extra value to the property. Breakfast has limited option but it was tasty.

There was cockroaches in our room and the resort is pretty far away from the main town/Varkala beach

Rather a lot of furniture crammed into a dressing area off my room, but the bed area was spacious and the bed itself very comfortable. Bathroom clean with hand held shower.

Colourful buildings amid tropical plants. Pool was small but clean and surrounded by sun beds. Access to the beach within minutes. Breakfast served under shade outside was fresh fruit followed by omelette and toast. Delicious!

The pool should be cleaned more often. The sunbeds are really old and should be updated. Other neigboring resorts around have matrasses for their sunbeds and so should Samsara.

The location is excellent and access to pool as well as beach is the main asset. It is quiet and calm. Staff is friendly and always help if there is a question, service request, etc. Breakfast is good and with good quality.

Breakfast served has very limited options,but very tasty,no complaints in it. And cold aswell,they cook around 7 in the morning and they serve that till 10:30-11 am

Would love a kettle in the room.

Great location right by the beach. Lovely pool. Breakfast (enormous!) overlooking the waves. Could sit there forever. Short walk to places to eat along the beach, a bit further to the cliff. Staff relaxed and friendly.

No daily room refresh/ emptying of bins. Only one bath towel per person, no hand or pool towel. No refresh of towels. Shower base cracked/broken…..reported to staff for their information. Air con worked but dripped water .

Lovely pool area, lovely location (on the beach) and hearty fresh breakfast served overlooking the beach. Staff pleasant enough, breakfast staff going the extra effort to please.

There isn't much not to like! Ants in the room (but that's nature and we didn't mind!)

We found the location fantastic! The beach (Odayam) was always quiet and very clean and it was 200 rupees to get to Varkala cliff by tuk tuk or a lovely half hour walk along the beach. The breakfasts were all amazing! Lovely omelettes, toast, fruit and a choice of traditional Keralan breakfast served with fresh fruit juice. The staff were all really lovely and helpful, The pool was lovely, especially after dark, very refreshing. We had a deluxe suite which had both a sea and pool view. It was very spacious and the bed was huge and very comfortable. All lovely and clean. Aircon worked really well and there were fans too. There was a TV but we never managed to get it to work (but don't watch TV on holiday anyway!) The sound of the sea was fantastic and we enjoyed sitting on our terrace playing cards and listening to the sound of the waves! Beach stunning!! Waves strong, take care! My husband lost his sunglasses! Best beach we visited in Kerala (Odayam) Would definitely recommend staying here as even though it's a bit far out it was cheap and quick by tuk tuk to get into Varkala and the staff were always happy to arrange this.

Excellent staff very helpful. Good location near the beach and surrounding was serene. Well maintained swimming pool with kids pool too. Cottages are nice to relax. Bike rental is a plus since location is quite remote.
